I really like Kaman (I have him on my fantasy team), but I just have to go with Bosh on this one. Kaman's developing into a very nice C, but he's more of a complementary player, while I feel Bosh is more of a franchise player.

On a side note, I would very much like the idea of a Bosh, Kaman front court. I think their styles would mesh well.

Putting things bluntly, Bosh is a much better player than Kaman ever will be

I agree. When Brand comes back I don't know if Kaman can keep those numbers. Bosh is carrying the Raptors, while the Clippers just aren't winning.

I like Kaman's rebounding and Defense better

But Bosh is one of those special players offensively

Bosh, easily. It's no offense to Kaman who is probably the MIP this year and putting up very nice numbers, but Chris Bosh is a franchise player and the numbers back it up.

Per-40, Bosh averages over 25 points per game. Kaman comes in at just over 17. Right off the bat, there's an 8 point difference that cannot be overlooked. Also notably, Bosh is the more efficient scorer and draws many more free throws per game (a good sign of an efficient offensive player) at 9.5 per-40 minutes as opposed to Kaman's 5.3. Once again, over a 4pt difference that can't be passed up. The difference in PER is also huge (this does factor in free throws, though). Bosh's is 25.27 and Kaman's is more than 7 points worse at 18.17.

Passing is a wash. Kaman averages more assists, but also more turnovers. Their respective ast/to ratio is an even 1/1 for each player.

Rebounding is where Kaman makes this at least a non-laughable argument, seeing as how he averages 4 more rebounds per-40 minutes than Bosh (14.2 to 10.2). Kaman is also a much better shot-blocker (by about 2 more per game), but comes up short in the steals department (1.1 for Bosh to 0.5 for Kaman). Neither are particularly good defenders, though.
