It really isn't close, and it is clear that Kobe has been much better this year.

Put Kobe on the Hornets with B-Jax instead of Paul, and Paul on the Lakers pre Gasol and you will find the Hornets are a legit conteder with West, Peja, and Chandler around him.

Put Paul on the Lakers and you have a group of talented young guys who probably aren't on their way to the playoffs.

There is a reason that most people think that the Hornets are destined for a first round playoff exit, but that opinion would be different if Paul was traded for Kobe.

have you actually seen the Hornets play? their whole system is meant to be ran by an elite PG, which is what Paul brings..pick and pops, screen plays, Paul penetrating and dishing..Kobe is a great passer, but not on an elite PG level..you can't just plug another player in, let alone a shooting guard, and get the same results..

that's a pretty stupid argument..

again for the idiot that posted before me..I never said Paul was better than Kobe..I said there was an argument that he's been better THIS YEAR..like I said, he's beating Kobe in a lot of meaningful stats and ratings, while his team has a better record..

Kobe fans..you guys gotta stop being so insecure..Kobe is a good player, we all know that..you don't have to make stupid posts without an argument defending him and bringing him up in every thread..laughing and posting smilies just makes you look stupid..

just look at the PER, and the ratings, and the shares and the team record..the supporting cast doesn't change anything in this case..Paul clearly has an argument..and he isn't Nash, where you can he's a mediocre defender..he's a good defender..

The order goes
Kobe
Bynum
Gasol
Odom
Fisher
Paul

No Oden? You usually have Oden on your top 10 even though he hasn't played a single game yet.
