Arenas is more talented, but Chauncey brings things like defense & leadership both to the floor and the lockerroom. That may not be as sexy, but it wins games.

I'll take Billups for the Lakers because he seems like a championship level player to me.

If I need a #1 option on the team, I'd take Arenas without hesitation.

I would take Gilbert. I think that people have forgotten how good he is because of his injury. Dude was at 28/5/6 or something ridiculous like that

agreed with Patterns..

I'd take Gilbert as my #1, but Billups as my #2 option..Arenas wouldn't fit at all with the Pistons team, and Billups wouldn't be able to do what Arenas does for the Wiz..

Obviously, I'd take Billups. I'm not too fond of Gilbert but I don't discredit his ability to score in bunches. I just don't view him in the same regard he views himself.

If I want to win, I hope Billups is on my team.

I said Arenas. There are specific teams that I think Billups would be better for, but in a vacuum Arenas is the better option.

You all know their relative strengths/weaknesses so I won't rehash them. However I think what often gets overlooked is that Arenas can play two positions at a superstar level. That gives any team Arenas plays for a huge advantage in terms of building around him.

If my team needed a point guard, Billups, easily.

If my team need a shooting guard, Arenas.

this is a tough one. the homer in me would say gilbert any day but i just hate gilbert's shooting inconsistency. its like one month he'll be putting up 40 ppg with 7 assists shooting 50% then the next month he'll shoot 30% and 20ppg. im gonna say gilbert if i need a franchise player to build around but billups if i have a good core that needs the missing piece

For the Bulls I'll take Arenas.

I was going to say virtually the exact same thing. Not to mention I'm a big fan of the "power" point guard.

Agreed, Billups is a great fundamentally sound player.

Depends on what you need, but in most scenarios I'd take Billups. He's the prototypical PG, shoots it well from the outside, terrific free throw shooter, strong post game, great defensively, decent play-maker, and a fantastic leader.
