Well Noah just pwned Varejao, and his old ex-teamate that got him suspended, So Noah over Varejao right now and Noah BY FAR for the future.

On top his jaw dropping PER for a rookie Noah also leads the Bulls in +/-, he somehow even manages a whoopin +51 :o
Given how sucky the Bulls have been playin most the year that is VERY impresive, he's gonna go down as 1 of the steals of the draft...

and what is Varajao exactly?????? Andy is the biggest whiner in the league and drops his 6'10 fram to the ground everytime hes on both ends of the court, he has zero offensive skill, he is a good defender I will give hiim that but the refs realize that he flops on every single play and they dont call it (even when there may be contact) because they think he is faking. Noah is younger and has a better game, he can score and defender, he can run the court he can pass and he seems to know the game better than Vara-OWWW

How is Andy the biggest whiner in the league? Everyone on his team loves him and loves the energy that he brings to the court. I remember when Lebron came off the bench with Varejao because he didn't want people to boo him when he checked into the game. If he was a whiner who didn't get along with his teammates, Lebron wouldn't have done that. Varejao also has more skill than a good number of NBA players.

Noah, he has a much higher ceiling. If he can develop some consistency, he's be a very nice player in the NBA.

He could a dip in february, but he's otherwise been very consistent for a rookie. I do agree with you, absolutely. But I have still been surprised about his level of consistent defensive play and rebounding. Excluding february of course..

I also have some interesting stats for all of you:

Noah has played 30 or more minutes 7 times this season:

11.7 PPG (Has scored double-figures in all of them)
11.5 RPG

Noah is really undersized for the position he's forced to play right now, and yet he's managing to hold his own. I didn't expect it. I expected him to be more of a PF than a C. He's shown that as a C, he's a really annoying defender, a decent rebounder, a surprisingly not horrible finisher, a decent ft shooter, and a good passer and energy guy.

Varejao really gets **** on because people don't like what he did with his contract, or the way he expects to get every call in his favor. He's pretty good when he's playing within himself.

I think Varejao is the bigger, more experienced NBA Center right now, and I'd take him for the remainder of this year.

But give Noah 15 pounds, which he'll manage to put on, and I'll take Noah every year after.

I'll take Noah, not only because I'd rather him but also because I'm a Bulls fan. :D
