Forget Lamar Odom? He was good for 15-9-5 every night even with Kobe taking 27 shots a game. LeBron won 50 that same year with a team just as bad maybe worse... Odom > Ilgauskas in 05/06. Mihm = Gooden in 05/06. The rest of LeBron's team looked like this...

Eric Snow - 28.7mpg - 40.9% shooting - 4.8ppg.. started 82 games.
Larry Hughes played 36 games and shot only 40.9%.
Ronald Murray(Smush Parker?) started 25 games averaging 37 minutes.
Donyell Marshall played 81 games, averaged 26 minutes, and shot 39.5%.
Damon Jones played 82 games, averaged 26 minutes, and shot 38.7%.

He'd lead the Cavs to the playoffs in the East, but they wouldn't be as good... and they wouldn't have beat Detroit last year to go the finals.

Kobe's team without Kobe 05/06 = 45.7% shooting
Kobe 05/06 = 45.0% shooting(4.5apg)

LeBron's team without LeBron 05/06 = 44.5% shooting
LeBron 05/06 = 48.0% shooting(6.6apg)

... and don't forget about PHIL JACKSON.(who only had 1 year out of 14 with less than 50 wins before 05/06.. only 2 years with less than 55!!!)

CASE CLOSED.

For all the Kobe homers saying he could lead the Cavs to a better record, because he took Smush, Kwami, Walton, Odem to the playoffs. They neglect the fact that the lakers were usually toward the top in defense and rebounding. I guess, if it wasnt for Kobe locking down the other teams entire roster, and pulling down rediculous amounts of rebounds to help his team be 7ish in the league, the Lakers would probably be a 10-15 game winning team.
