That is like saying you give the ball to Lebron or Wade if you need a game winning three over Reggie Miller ignoring that both cannot hit 3s at all.
With seconds left, Jordan drove to the basket for a layup and got fouled. He made both freethrows to give Chicago a one-point lead. Joe Dumars hit a jumpshot at the other end and the Bulls called their last timeout.
With four seconds left in overtime, Jordan got the ball, dribbled hard to his right, left Dumars and Polynice behind in the dust and hit a long three for the win. Bulls 98 - Pistons 96.
