I think all possible Top-10 duos have already been mentioned here, with a possible exception of Derek Harper-Rolando Blackman. Though again: if you talk about them, you should mention Kidd-Penny (AKA Backcourt 2000) and Nash-Finley as well.

I think of a question like this in terms of all the players rather than just "X plus any other guy is the greatest because X was great all by himself." This isn't about who's the greatest individual player of all time, but about who's the greatest backcourt. One player does not a backcourt make.
I remember your posts from the RPOY project, you consistently brought it. Please continue to do so, sir. This board needs guys like you to counteract ... worthless posters

Frazier/Monroe and Thomas/Dumars are 1 and 2. I realy dont think the #3 is even close.
The biggest knock on the Knicks is the Monore was the 4th option when he played in NY while he was a top 10 player with the Bullets. Did Monroe still have game and just sacrificed or had he lost a step.
The stats say that the Pistons were the more productive duo but theres no doubt that the knicks were the more hearlded.
Last Tuesday all 4 players were at the Palace of Auburn Hills as the Pistons hosted the Knicks. Frazier and Monroe did the telecast for MSG and were very enjoyable (if only the Knicks could get a good video truck) but the video was of 1960s quality.
