Hedo is playing awesome this year.
In my team I want Okur, because we need him, but I can't say Memo is much better than Hedo.

Somehow, I don't think Turk is trembling.

As for Defense:

Okur's opponents PER at center: 16.5
Turk's opponent's PER at SF: 13.9

Wow, I was definitely under the wrong conception about him. I was under the belief that his stats were not as great as the start of the season.

Even then, nice numbers. The effect that Okur has on a game and the offensive schemes still make Okur valuable, even if Hedo posts a couple numbers more than him, but it is still nice.

I would like to know where you got your stats from, and after that I will stand corrected at least statistically.

Hedo is also a better 3 point shooter, so Hedo would have a better effect at stretching defenses than Okur.

Just completely stand corrected on all accounts.

Okur just by the fact that he is centered size gives Utah a huge boost, because he can draw a center or power forward, players that guard the paint more heavily, and that means that it opens layups for Boozer and the rest of the gang. Take as an example our game vs. Boston. Kevin Garnett would come out to guard Okur, but then Boozer would be dunking on Perkins, then they got the slow Perkins to guard Okur, and he began shooting three pointers and widening the lead.

Okur = role star player

Hedo = go-to-guy deservedly all-star player

I wasn't worried about the offensive numbers. Offensively, even though Hedo scores a point more, still Okur is still doing great. For a Center, offensively he is up there with the elite.

But defensively, those opponent PER numbers don't sound right, and as a matter of fact he has stepped up big time since the All-Star defensively. Hedo's opponents position has to be SF, and statistically I believe it is the position that averages the lowest PER, with the addition that he is on the East.

So, defensively, I know he is marshmellow soft, but something doesn't sound right.

Average PER for SF position for Eastern Conference Teams: 17.06
Percentage Difference for Hedo: -18.52%

Average PER for C position for Western Conference Teams: 18.37
Percentage Difference for Okur: -10.18%
