IMO Deron Williams has, without question, had a better season than Chauncey and I think he's a better player.

Gilbert Arenas?
Devin Harris, Mo Williams, and Jose Calderon make it tougher for Miller, as well.
i don't really consider gil a point, but I know others do though. if you do then he and chauncey are fighting it out for best in the east. the other 3 are good player but not really in the conversation, though i don't get to see much mo williams i just remember his defense makes miller look like a prime glove.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Posts like this and your post after this one, along with your lack for proper grammar are precisely why you won't be a moderator.

Very debatable. Andre Miller is a great Mid range shooter and much better post up player than Billups. He is also a better passer and defender. Miller averages the same points and shoots a much higher % from the floor for a reason.
To which my response was this:
Miller averages the same points? Well he should, he plays 4.5 more minutes and has way $hittier teammates than Billups. Has much higher %, well **** he should have cause Billups actually shoots and makes threes. Shooting 40% from threes might have something to do with Billups' overall percentage.
Want to compare stats if they played same minutes? Their stats adjusted to 36mpg:
Chauncey --
ppg: 18.9
apg: 7.6
shooting: 44.8% / 40.1% / 91.8%
PER: 23.61
assists/to: 3.24
Andre --
ppg: 16.7
apg: 6.7
shooting: 49.2% / 8.8 % / 77.2%
PER: 18.51
assists/to: 2.76
Now talk about whose stats are better. Why don't you talk about how Miller is dismal at threes, pretty bad ft shooter for a pg, doesn't have a Finals MVP, isn't a 3 time all star, is nowhere near as clutch as Billups, his team is 1st round fodder. Billups has delivered in more pressure situations than Miller can even dream to be a part of. Miller plays better defense? Common sense says otherwise. Miller is a much better post up player? Now I think you've never seen Billups play and are just blinded by Millers breakout season (which as you can see, isn't even as good as Billups' average season).
Put each player on the other team. Do you think Billups still has those numbers this year? Do you think Millers numbers would become better?

This is an extremely valid comparison.
Billups is ultimately the superior PG, but it seems that since his stints in LAC/DEN (both of which lacked a team offense and had ball-dominators), Miller's been underrated... now it seems the scale has swung.
Miller's one of my favorite PGs... he just has that intangible of knowing what to do at the exact right time. You cannot overstate the impact Dre has had on the 6ers and is speeding up their growth process of their younger players...
But if your looking to win a ring, its Chauncey...

I have had the pleasure of being able to watch both of them play a lot of games in Denver. I really like Miller, but I would go with Chauncey because he isn't the same player he was when the Nuggets had him.

Is there anything more pathetic than the "Yea,um"? Do you need to sound like a valley girl before you make your point? Just wondering

I was though, referring to him getting his own shot.. in Denver he was always deferring to at least two people, one always being Melo, the others being Lenard, Kenyon... hell even Boykins and Camby at times. Then he goes to Philly and massively improves the team - I think its safe to say that Miller's more effective when looking for his own shot.

Damn, my Nuggets are stupid sometimes the thought of having both Miller and Billups in the backcourt, which woulda, shoulda, coulda, happened and then realizing that it never did or will is enough to make a grown man cry.
I thought about this comparison a few times now, and I think if you are trying to build a young team Miller would be the PG of choice. If you want a PG to win now or get a team over the hump I would go with Billups. So, it all comes down to where a team is at the moment and what it is a team is looking to do.
