I'd take Hayes only looking at contracts. Ben wallace is way too expensive for what he produces.

if big ben was motivated I'd pick him in a heartbeat, but considering you can get the same thing from hayes ATM for cheap. I pick chuck

are we considering contract or no?

if yes then Hayes for sure if no I think id have to pick Wallace, hes still a superior defender and niether of them bring much on offense.

Wallace is old, expensive, and not as good anymore. Hayes is younger, contract isn't as bad, and can knock out a layup or two. I take Hayes.

Kind of sad this has what Wallace has become, but including contracts I'd almost take ANY player over him. Excluding contracts though I'd take Wallace rather easily, he's still a better shot-blocker/rebounder than Hayes by a reasonable margin.
