Maggette
Gets to the line more, therefore gets as many 3 point plays as Miller. Plus Corey can play some defense

They really are both very good players that bring something different to the table. I would be thrilled with either one, but if I had to choose, I would pick Corey just because he can attack the rim consistently and get to the line. That is very valuable, especially in the playoffs were foul trouble is key.

Although Mike's 3 pt shooting is desirable as well. :-?

Mike Miller
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I think it is not so much the three points with Miller, but more so the fact that he spreads the floor a lot better. I would take Miller, better shooter, better passer, smarter player, I like Corey, but he isn't the smartest player.

As a number 1 option I'd take Maggette easily. As a role player or as a number 2 option, I'd take Miller easily.

Maggette is a scoring machine. but if your team needs to strech the defence Miller shooting threes is a thing of beauty.

I'll take Corey Maggette, but both are good second/third options, just do it differently.

Who the hell would ever consider Maggette as a possible #1 option?

as a second option then.

for a team like the bucks i take corey.
for a contenders team mike miller as a sitxh man (ginobili role, miller guarding sg and sf), it's perfect.
i wish the rockets can get mike miller...

He was LAC's number 1 option this year.
