He can't play a fluid offensive game, because the Nuggets have no offensive game. Karl has no plays on offense. He doesn't even believe in giving his players defined roles. He basically has told AI to shoot and shoot. Pretty hard for Melo to be "fluid" with that. Last season before the AI trade, Melo and JR were actually playing well together. And Camby? He is laughably bad on offense. Team mates don't want to pass him the ball, because he'll jack up that awful jumper or drive in and get a charge or miss the layup. And Karl doesn't believe in holding players accountable (unless the player is JR), so he doesn't tell Camby to stop that crap.

Melo can't destroy something that doesn't exist. Put him on the Lakers with Phil and Kobe, and he'll fit in to the team concept demanded of him.
