Team Calamity: How far would they go in today's playoffs?

Post#1 » by cjx » Mon May 19, 2008 2:08 am

Team Calamity

F Ron Artest (prime)
F Marvin Barnes (prime)
C Dennis Rodman (prime)
G Pistol Pete Maravich (prime)
G Billy Knight (prime)
6 Derrick Coleman (prime)
Head coach: Butch Carter

Would this team implode immediately or go deep in the playoffs?

Barnes would be the starting center . . . if he showed up. Rodman was SF sized though his rebounding, strength, and lack of a shot make him a PF. Why was Billy Knight on this team? Why not Johnny Neumann, JR Rider, Iverson, John Lucas, Michael Ray Richardson, etc.

Lots of talent, not a clue how to play as a team on the whole squad except maybe Maravich (who toned his game down to be a roleplayer on the Celtics) and Rodman (whose game didn't require the ball). This team would implode of course.

Team Calamity

Barnes/Tarpley/Bison Dele
Coleman/Rodman/Rasheed
John "Cementhead" Drew/Artest
Iverson/Rider/Neumann
Richardson/Lucas

Good luck and have a couple of paramedics and good lawyers on call.
