Joe Johnson is "chubby" and doesn't play defense? WTF?

He was responding to my statement that Carmelo Anthony was not Zach Randolph.

I don't think that facetious comment warrants a response though.

Melo BY FAR. This should not even be a debate, at all.

For the purposes of this debate, Melo is not held back by coaching.

Anyway, Melo is better but I wouldn't make that trade straight up if I were the Hawks.

He has the talent to be the league's most dominant scorer, but it will never happen.

He already is one of the most dominant scorers in the league. Before Iverson came he was #1 in scoring in the NBA and doing it at over 50% from the field.

Just because he is deferring to AI means he is dominant all of a sudden? Yet if he dominates the ball he is a black hole with bad shot selection? Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

I said "for the purposes of this comparison" because George Karl, for all his faults, is 16 times the coach Mike Woodson is.

I'll take Joe Johnson, has range, better play maker, and can somewhat play defense.
