Do you mean a better player, or better alum for the school?

OJ will be the better player, but Nick Young was the better alum for the school.

OJ Mayo is a much better player IMO. Plays better D, is a better offensive player, and has all-star potential

i wouldnt say he's considerably better than Nick Young. Nick Young's got every offensive repertoire that Mayo has, but is taller, longer, and more athletic. Mayo is slightly more skilled overall than Young, but to say hes considerably better than a fellow promising young player is farfetched. We'll just have to wait and see if he (Mayo) lives up to the hype.

Nick Young does have a nice offensive arsonal, but he just isn't as good as Mayo offensively. Mayo doesn't necessarily have the great first step to create space and does become shot happy sometimes, but he is obviously a more skilled player with a larger offensive arsonal.

On top of that, he probably has the best defense of anybody projected in the lottery.

Gotta go with Nick Young. He's already showed he can get his shot of at anytime. With another season in the offense and a strong offseason I think he's ready to break out
