Bosh may or may not have a better career when both players are retired. But that is not what this thread is asking, nor is it asking who was better at Bosh's current age.

All that getting sidetracked was merely bogus arguments from Raps fans who refuse to acknowledge that Dirk is currently better than Bosh. I don't want excuses or predictions, just own up to the fact that Dirk is better and qualify it however you want.

You pick the way better, how can you even compare them, you must be such a homer to even consider him in the same league player

2007- 2008 statistics
Min fg% ft% ppg rb rbr ass bl per
Player A 36 .479 .879 23.6 8.6 13.8 3.5 .9 24.6
Player B 36.1 .494 .844 22.3 8.7 14.2 2.6 1 23.9

Player A leads in ft%, ppg, ass, per
Player B leads in fg%, rb, rbr, bl

Not one of the categories is anything resembling statistically significant. In fact I don't know if you could pick two players in the league with more similiar stats from last year going across all categories.

I am not talking about career, predictions or the first 5 years (though these are also eerily similiar). I am talking about right now. This is on top of the fact that most people would acknowledge that Bosh would have the slightest edge defensively though that is a wash like every other category between the two.

Yeah, you're looking at very basic stats.

Start comparing these players based on PER, win shares, scoring efficiency. It's not close.
