This is a continuation of the Immortal 6 thread.
The group ranging from #7-15 are kinda close in a way as well.
Such guys in that range include: Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, West, Oscar, Moses Malone, Elgin Baylor, John Havlicek, Bob Pettit, Julius Erving, George Mikan, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant , etc
Who do you consider the best out of that group above or who do you see going down as the best out of that group?

Re: The Next 6-9 players from #7-15
For me there isn't much separation until you reach 21-22.
Shaq, Hakeem, and possibly Duncan are easily the class of this. A great two way big dominates the game like no one else.
The next group of great bigs doesn't quite have the championships but is just a step down and is at least equal to everyone else . . . Moses, D.Robinson, Gilmore, Ewing, Garnett, K.Malone, Pettit
Mikan and Baylor dominated their day but their stats and games don't seem to be as timeless as those of Pettit, Russell, etc.
Oscar and West have great stats inflated a bit by pace but still at least equal to the best guards since (Frazier and Kobe would be the next two). Erving belongs in this group too, ahead of Frazier and Kobe, behind Oscar and West. Havlicek and Barry don't have the efficiency of this group though Havlicek's defense and championships put him on the fringes here either just before or just after Kobe and in a group with Payton, Pippen, etc.
So, the next group for me would be Shaq, Hakeem, Duncan for a top 9 above the rest.
Then in a rough order West, Oscar, Moses, DRobinson, K.Malone, Erving, Garnett, Frazier, Pettit, Kobe, Gilmore/Ewing to round out the top 20 (21). Not sure I wouldn't move Payton up to 20 ahead of Gilmore/Ewing, but when not sure, you go with the big guys.

Rounding out my top 10...
7. Duncan
8. Erving
9. Shaq
10. Hakeem
So basically 3 two way bigs and a guy who I believe is a bad break away from contending with the immortal 6.

Re: The Next 6-9 players from #7-15
I, like most, have Shaq-Duncan-Hakeem as my 7-9 (no order).
As far as 10-13 (no order):
West
Dr J
Moses
Oscar
14-20 (no order):
Petit
D-Rob
Karl Malone
Kobe
Barkley (I think I may rank him higher than most)
Hondo
I'm tempted to bump the Big O down a tier.

^^^Duncan?
