This thread should of been made prior to playoffs.
Someone got extreme exposure while the other was on the worst team in the NBA.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Tatum has more trade value IMO. He is a way better defender, 2 more years at controlled money and has shown a lot of nice intangibles as well.

But my god this thread. Tatum might never score 25ppg in his career, let alone 25/5 on 56TS%. There is no indication is ceiling is higher than Booker whatsoever. The thing is Devin plays for a dumpster fire and like some have said, has already developed some bad habits, but there's no wing 21 and under with a higher ceiling right now I would say.

2 extra years of rookie contract makes this clear

I’ll take Stevens for $22,000,000, Alex.

Anyone saying it’s “not even close” is being biased. Both players are young and have extremely high cieling. It’s hard to judge impact because they are on teams in completely different positions.

Tatum’s contract makes him way more valuable at the moment, but Booker is a much more established offensive player. Tatum has the luxury of playing in a big market, on a good team, with a great coach. On the other hand Booker also has more opportunity to showcase himself on a terrible Phoenix team.

Contracts aside, for me the advantage goes slightly to Booker. Putting up 25ppg as a 21 year old is extremely rare. He’s improved every aspect of his game each year he’s been in the league.

Tatum has more potential to be the better all around player, but Booker has legit potential to lead the NBA in scoring.

That being said I believe both will be all stars and make all nba teams sooner rather than later.
