LeBron needs to be playing 25 minutes per game at this point, he doesnt have the stamina or the knees to be playing 36+ minutes, even playing half court offense only. NBA has him listed as the slowest player in the league, 3.61 mph.

for context, thats just about as fast as this 92 year old woman runs for 7.5 hours straight

she doesn't have to jump though, so i guess its not a fair comparison..

Jordan at #2? :o
KG over Kobe? :o
Dear ole Timmy Duncan all the way up at #5 and over Kobe and Larry? :o :-? Hah double hah!!

I recommend reading the hard work and dedication people have invested into the project rather than complaining to nobody who cares--thats what Twitter is for.

You mean the sort of hard work and dedication that allowed them to delude themselves into thinking that Tim Duncan was quicker and an equal or better athlete than Dikembe Mutombo? No lies, that's actually what one of the prime peeps on this section of the forum is trying to imply on a thread about rim-protectors.

Rank these players in order of Rim Protection ability.

This is just one example of how the "legend of Dear Ole Timmy" has been created here, little by little, by adding up all these fibs. Is it no wonder than they wrongly rate Timmy so highly on this list? I mean, in his/her mind, Timmy has become a fire-breathing, rim-protecting dragon who was an equal/better athlete to Dikembe, and was as dominant as Shaq in the paint, and had MJ/Kobe's skills and footwork, and who had no help instead of the best squads in the league... and who is called the Big Fundamental even though he couldn't master the basic fundamental skill of shooting free-throws... so what can I possibly say to change their minds?

All the while, they've been trying to paint Duncan's better as an inefficient chucker and "equal to or below" guys like KG and D Wade, thus getting rid of the competition by putting 7 spaces between Timmy and Kobe? Lol.

When I point out how ludicrous and wrong this is, I get labelled a troll who should be ignored. Yeah, no thanks again.

I wouldnt bother reading the PC board top 100 list.

People voted Lebron because:
Jordan wasnt a rim protector.
Lebron is better teammate.
Lebron played on more teams.
Jordan had a bad game vs knicks in 93 ecf 3/18fg but ignores 22pts, 8rbs, 11ast, 2blks, 2blks which is compairable with 2011 finals.
Lebron is a better defender.

One guy gave a very good and detailed post on why Jordan was Goat instantly attacked for it.

Not that it was biased against Jordan or anything

I am not sure why you can't post in this thread without derailing or being all over the place. Warned.

Yup, just look at realgm's, top 100. And I have tons of respect for this board's rankings.

2. Jordan: retired for 3 years
3. Kareem: 22/8/3.
4. Russell: retired 3 years
5. Duncan: 15/10/3.
6. Wilt: 1st season of retirement
7. Magic: retired
8. Shaq: 12/6
9. Hakeem: 10/6
10. Bird: retired 2 years
11. Garnett: 20 mpg defensive specialist
12. Kobe: maybe the worst player in the NBA and irrelevant for 3 years.
13. West: retired 2 years
14. Oscar: retired 2 years
15. Dirk: 18/6
16. Malone: 22/8/4
17. Robinson: 8/8, defensive specialist similar to KG
18. Erving: retired
19. Mikan: retired
20. Moses: 10mpg

Is this supposed to be a serious list? My goodness. That's not a proper list. That looks like a list personally put together by the "tall, awkward, gawky but trying to be hipster lugs of the world united" club... can't find another explanation for why Larry and Kobe are so low with so many centers above them. Embiid: 29.68 ppg

He needs to take 25+ shots a night for the rest of the season to gun for the scoring title.

“I want to be respected for my scoring.”
Proceeds to score two highly-efficient 50 pieces in the same week in season 19.

It’s funny how much **** he gets for statpadding and chasing records. I actually think he should chuck way more because at this point I think it would actually lead to more wins.

we could have a serious thread and a memes/silly one amd call them the nba and aba lebron threads respectively/s

but being serious we could just freeze that other thread until the play in then lock this one

In Kareem’s 19th season he averaged 14.1/6. His high that season was 27 points. In Jordan’s 19th season he was averaging $500k a night at the casino. LeBron’s averaging 29.7/8.2/6.3 on 62% TS.

His longevity is truly second to none. And that’s on top of a GOAT-tier peak and prime. Best to ever do it.
