Davis/Wade vs Garnett/Payton

Build around I take Payton/Garnett due to injury concerns about Wade/Davis. Peak is Wade/Davis

Wade/Davis are so much more talented.

Payton was fine but he doesn’t really belong in this combo.

I see Matt's point about durability but the ceiling is just much higher with Wade and AD.

Yep, too much injury concern with Wade and Davis. Think everyone is on the right track here though, if we assume health then Wade and AD have a great peak projection, but Payton and Garnett are great too and probably more reliable.

Wade/Davis give you 50-70 points every night, while you can expect 40-50 from Garnett/Payton. The former group is just much more explosive scoring wise. Other things from Payton/Garnett cannot make it up.

If they are similarly injury prone I go KG/Payton.

Peak wise it's easily Wade/Davis, shouldn't even be debatable. Though the way the two's health overlaps, they give you maybe 4-5 years of serious contention if being generous. Depends how well their support players are, but I can't see taking that over KG/Payton who at least double that time frame.
