No again.
Of all of the spliced players being proposed here, young LeBron is the only one with a history of taking bums anywhere. I do not agree with your assessment.
LeBron/ Curry would not need a top 10 all time big (a Duncan) alongside him. There is no doubt in my mind that he could make a Theo Ratliff or a Serge Ibaka work.
He/ it would wreck shop with a DeAndre Ayton.
He/ it would still function with a Joel Anthony.
An offensive force like that could make a team of defensive specialists work imo.
Eric Snow/ Delonte West
Klay Thompson/ Aaron McKie
Steames LeCurry
Tyrone Hill/ Shane Battier
Dikembe Mutombo/ Serge Ibaka
That team would wreck other teams (as the top defensive team in the league).
David Robison, I am assuming peak pre-injury Robinson that never played with Duncan could take care of defensive center responsibilities. Tim Ducan could take care of defensive center responsibilities. LeBron Curry could play power forward. My version of peak LeBron has the best of young peak and old peak Lebron. Young peak LeBron can fly arround the opposition Jordan style while old peak LeBron over-powers the opposition Karl Malone style but has lost a bit of Jordan mobility while gaining Malone power. Older LeBron has the strength to box out but is not at Tim Duncan level in shot blocking. Teams have won championships without shot blocking but most championship teams have shot blocking. LeBron might wear down if he was the only good rebounder. LeBron Curry should play witha good defensive center to win a championship. LeBron Curry is a better offensive player than Nikola Robinson but Robinson takes care of that crucial defensive center position.
