Who would you rather build around in today’s game?

Reggie though Ewing isn't a crazy answer either with his range. If Ewing's knees could stay at close to 100% to help his mobility I might pick him.

Ewing today would be a combo of Jokic/Embiid while Reggie would be a combo of Steph/Klay.

What on earth does Ewing have in common with Jokic?

Probably Miller. Ewing would still be legit on defense, but his offensive game outside of one outlier season just didn’t impress me.

Durant vs Adebayo.

I'd take Ewing. I wouldnt make him my focal volume scorer, of course, but he had the mobility and range for the modern game.

This might be the wildest take I've seen on realgm

They move about the same pace. They are both big as well and both dominant the other big they go against.

Patrick Ewing was my childhood hero. Jokic's great skill is passing. Ewing's 5 best passes would be mediocre passes for Jokic
