Re: The LeBron James 2021-22 Regular Season/Playoff Thread- Part 4
This is an embarrassment of epic proportions. Preseason title favorite didn't even make the play in tournament. I thought they were overrated from the beggining and I predicted a 5th or 6th seed. But even I didn't think they were gonna be this bad. Other than that bubble season, LeBron's tenure on the Lakers has been a total disaster. Western conference is a different thing to that weak east that he dominated with his superteams in the past. Individual stats don't mean nothing in this 3 point era, LeBron came up short. This team was built around him and by him.

dont forget the diminishng over being "just" a "floorraiser that limits your ceiling offensively with his ball dominance "
he created alongside love and kyrie one of the best offenses of all time and his offense team results are among tge best ever
somehow still not a "ceiling raiser"
i dont want to whine about this -again- but if curry got the results with love and kyrie that lebron did he would be unnanimously considered the ultimate offensive player and "ceiling raiser"
switch their main offensive teammates and offensive results and people wouldnt ever let lebron live it down that curry with kyrie had comparable results as lebron with dursnt offensively speaking
Never gonna stop calling out how useless that whole concept is. Worst part is that you don't really hear it from the anti-LeBron crowd, but rather from people who make reasonable arguments on most other topics.

He should doubt his abilities. His game is and always has been overrated as F*UCK) --- it involves giving it less than your best efforts, picking up the ball and going home; sh*t like that.
when things aren't going your way?
when the chips are down?
when the situation looks bleak?
when **** ain't easy?
so like... being down 3-1 in the nba finals against the winningest regular season team in the history of the sport?

I........I................ agreee with everything you said. They were overrated, they did underperform, and yes when you remove the CHAMPIONSHIP that they won, it then becomes valid to say that they failed in their mission to win a championship.

I also think that other than the Mavs single title in 2011, they have the exact same number of titles as the Timberwolves. Bunch of losers, those teams.

You know, I'm not a LeBron fan but... While I understand the rules around here, it feels like the most appropriate response to some of these absurd, bad faith posts (and posters) is to call them exactly what they are.

Seems like the GB trolls are taking over. This entire place has dropped so badly in quality it's honestly sad. RealGM is turning into ISH.
This place used to have in-depth analyses and honest discussions. Now it's filled with trolling, bad faith posting, anti-player or anti-team brigading and none of it is based in any reality.
Have fun, I'm going to look for another basketball discussion community.

User Gregoire warned for profanity.
Let's keep the discussions intelligent and focused on NBA basketball.
I am going to close this thread as it is poor quality and degenerated into personalities.
