Dort is top 3 imho, I actually consider him one of the best defensive guards I've seen, he just doesn't play in a good enough team to be recognized. Regardless, I would never pick injured rubio or 37 yo cp3 in the top 5. I would also put ayton in the top 5, maybe ahead of embiid or allen. JJJ I would probably put him as a big. Oh, and you forgot giannis, he's at least top 3 if we put him as a big and at least top 2 as a wing. And there's also mikal.
Then there are obviously Kawhi and AD who easily deserve top 5 but they've been injured.

Guards:
1)Smart
2)Jrue
3)Dort
4)Mikal
5)Caruso

Wings:
1)Giannis
2) Draymond
3) Thybulle
4) Butler
5) Pg

Bigs:
1)Gobert
2)Adebayo
3)JJJ
4)Robert Williams
5)Ayton
6)Allen
7)Embiid
8)Turner
9)Poeltl
10)Capela

With AD and Leonard being 2 dpoy caliber defenders that I have to leave out because of injuries

Mikal is good but I'm not so sold on the hype that I think he's a top 5 wing defender. I did forget Giannis, I'd put him behind Draymond though. I think we see the difficulty with the 3 positional classifications though as it can be unclear whether a SG is more guard or more wing, while PFs especially are often hard to classify as wing or center/big. Bridges is definitely not a guard though, how could he be when he plays next to CP3 and Booker?

When Ball/Caruso were on the floor earlier in the year, they were dominant on D. If they stay healthy, they will lead the Bulls next year to a top 3 seeding
