Which duo would you rather build a team around in today’s league?

I love Stockton but the only argument for he and Duncan is longevity. Curry and robinson for me

The longevity isn’t such a small deal though when you’re getting like 15+ all star level seasons plus factoring in Curry’s durabilty concerns.

I imagine Stockton's playoff scoring is the major counterpoint to discuss.

If I'm getting an all-star season out of Curry at age 34, I'll gladly take his "durability concerns".

As is Robinson’s against strong defenses. I’m not saying Curry/Drob is the wrong answer, I just don’t think it’s so easy.

Oh, it's definitely a tough call.

are wr getting the samw amount of healtht seasons?

aka does robinson still enter the league at 24 and curry only become prominent until he is like 25 plus injurrd seasons?

curry is a fairly better player than stockton but the huge longevity/health advantage of the stock/duncan duo evens this out

Early going with the votes, but an interesting point to note here and in the other one (Curry/Drexler/Garnett vs CP3/Reggie Miller/Duncan)... is the presence of Duncan has not been enough to sway the voting towards his team in each of these fantasy duos and trios. This thread is fully understandable because more people view Curry as the better player/shooter of the two guards, and more have him as their favorite over Stockton... the other one is kind of surprising though.

At the time of my posting this...
Curry-Robinson 9 : 1 Stockton-Duncan
Curry-Drexler-Garnett 7 : 4 CP3-Reggie-Duncan

I probably go Steph/Robinson. I suppose you could make the case for the other duo based on long-term planning (longevity). But if we were talking a 3-5 year window to win, I think Steph/DRob is your better bet.

Love me some John Stockton, but Steph's simply a different tier of star. I do think Duncan's a bit better than Robinson [in playoffs], but still.
Excepting injury, as long as you even get an average cast around Steph and Robinson, I think you're the title favorite most years.
