I think Wade was still good enough to win as a first option on a team that was good enough (when healthy)
Who’s win this matchup?
2004 Pistons
Billups
2012 Dwayne Wade /Rip?
Prince
Wallace
Wallace
2015 Warriors

Re: 2004 Pistons + 2012 Wade vs 2015 Warriors
I’d be pretty confident in taking the Pistons if you were talking about 06/09/10/11 Wade, with 2012 it’s more interesting. I’d argue even that version of Wade becomes the team’s best offensive player, and certainly another offensive weapon to a not good but not terrible offense. I think they’d be a defense the likes of which Curry and that crew has never seen(yes I know how great the Raptors were), I’d argue with Wade added they’d become a better offense than the Grizzlies who at least prior to the Conley/Allen injuries were able to hang with the Warriors and give Curry some trouble. Wade’s defense was still pretty good that year when he was able to move around, I don’t see Curry having his way with Billups/Wade/Rip/Prince being thrown at him on every play. Also if Draymond thinks he’s so tough he’s going to learn a thing or two playing against the Wallaces over a series. I can see it going either way, but If Wade is reasonably healthy that series I’d probably take them.
