ranking all od magic and curry careers (i dont think there is anythingh that could happen in 1-2 finals games left that would change my evaluation of 2022 curry up or down, also helps to avoid ring bias i guess)

My ranking:

1. 1987 Magic - GOAT offensive player to me.
2. 1990 Magic - not that far from 1987 (if at all), arguably the best offensive season ever.
3. 2017 Curry - this one is extremely close between 1988 Magic and 2017 Curry, but I give Curry the benefit of doubt. After all, he was the best player on the best team ever.
4. 1988 Magic - this season was simply more complete than Curry's 2016 performance, despite considerable RS gap.

5. 1989 Magic - Magic injury hurts his case here, but Curry was even less healthy in the postseason and Johnson's playoffs run was considerably more impressive before the injury.
6. 2016 Curry - I know some people will say I am insane to have one of the best RS performances ever that low, but his postseason was very underwhelming and I just view Magic as slightly better player all things concerned.

7. 1991 Magic - can't decide between this season vs 2019 Curry, but I'll go with my preference here with a hope for more arguments.
8. 2019 Curry - I think Curry peaked extremely high in the second part of the playoffs and I wouldn't take any version of pre-1987 Magic over that.
9. 2021 Curry - another impressive RS from Curry, could be higher with a postseason run.
10. 2015 Curry - this season was a bit more complete than 1986 for Magic, although it's very close. I'm lower on 2015 Curry than other versions because of defense and bigger concerns with his physicality.
11. 1986 Magic - very underrated season from Magic, he reached another level then.
12. 1985 Magic - I feel bad with excluding 2022 from the list, but I think I'm being fair here to both players.

HM: 2022 Curry, ahead of any other Magic version.

For the playoffs I’d probably rather have most prime versions of Magic, so I’d imagine he gets 4 of the top 5 seasons or so.
