Wade is getting no respect in these. I mean not in top 5's let alone top 10s. And wow at roses 24/8/4 being better then 25/7/4 on better efficiency. Some people need to watch him play.

1. Lebron
2. Dwight/Wade
3.Wade/Dwight
4. Kobe
5. Durant
6. CP3
7. Rose
8. Dirk
9. Melo
10. Nash/D-Will/Amare

Yes, because its absolutely ABSURD that the fan's of a team think a player putting up 25/8/4 on a team on pace to win 59 games is a top 5 player, just because his efficiency is average/below average.

PS how does his 24.7/8.0/4.3 get downgraded to 23/8/4?

1. Dwight Howard
2. Derek Rose
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Lebron James
5. Dwayne Wade
6. Dirk Nowitski
7. Kevin Durant
8. Deron Williams
9. Chris Paul
10. Amare Stoudamire

No way Lebron or Wade deserve top 3 with the way Miami has under-achieved. Even if they are the two best players in the league (or, at worst, two of the top 4).

STFU Troll, in your opinion Wade is worse then Bogans so who cares what you think. Wade's athletisicim and defense and efficiency puts Wade above Kobe in my opinion. Dwight isnt better then these guys but his value as the best Center puts him up here.

1. Lebron James- Its not even close really. He doesn't close games, and is a douche, but he's so athletically gifted that he should be number 1 easily. His "bad" games usually consist of a close triple double or 20+ points

2. Dwight Howard- Best Center in the league by far, and is really dominant.

3. Dwayne Wade- Still does insane stuff on a regular basis. Great player still, put him on another team and he'll put up even better stats. Not like he's doing that already.

4. Kobe Bryant- When he's on, he's amazing. Great Closer. Great leader. Overall good player

5. Derrick Rose- Absolute playmaker. Scores at will, will continue to be better. Jumpshot has insanely improved this season, 3 point as well (although it has died down as of late). Insanely Quick.

6. Kevin Durant- Pure scorer. Lacks playmaking ability but sure knows how to get to the line. Extremely efficient.

7. Dirk Nowitzki- Not that great of a rebounder, but great scorer. Insane how fluid he is with that size. Can score from many places.

8. Amare Stoudemire- A little better than his teammate Melo. Really efficient, was in MVP talks due to the Knicks strong start. Has an arsenal of moves and plays powerful.

9. Deron Williams- Great point guard. Not the best in the league anymore, but still is really talented. Great vision.

10. Carmelo Anthony/Steve Nash- Have the two tied up here. Both are extremely talented. Melo is melo, and Nash has quietly been having a great season.

This season production I'd go by:

LeBron - Superior Player.
Howard - His team is the TOP8 team that most depends on a player.
Dirk - Same as Howard.
Rose - Leading the Bulls to an awesome campaing, I don't really think he's better than Durant, Kobe, Wade, Chris Paul and Deron, but he certainly deserves this spot.
Durant - He's being Kevin Durant. The best scoring player in the league(volume vs efficiency) and has being great at the worst coached team at the TOP8.
Kobe - Auto-pilot.
Wade - He's being great but LeBron clearly imposes his game.
Chris Paul - Lifting single handed his team. Dwight-esque PG. The most underrated season.
Deron Williams - The second most underrated season.
Stoudemire - Overrated season, but his start was monster-kill.

HM: LaMarcus, Al Horford, Carmelo, Westbrook, Manu, Garnett and Griffin.

How is it a contradiction? They can't be 1 and 2 when they're team is underachieving so dramatically, hence they're ranked 4 and 5. Rose may not be better than either, but he sure as hell has played better than both, hence his team's performance and his ranking on this list.

And Lebron and Wade being #1 and #2 is a valid opinion, but not totally factual. At this point I still prefer Kobe to Wade, and in a number of situations I prefer both to James.

How are Williams/Paul/Nash/Amare/Melo not all easily below Rose?

Williams: 20/4/10, 3.2 TOV, 58% TS
Nash: 17/4/12, 3.4 TOV, 62% TS
Paul: 16/4/10, 2.3 TOV, 59% TS
Amare: 26/8/3, 3.4 TOV, 58% TS
Melo: 26/8/3, 2.9 TOV, 55% TS

Rose: 23/4/8, 3.4 TOV, 54% TS

3) He scores or assists on more baskets than any other player in the league

That doesn't really make sense. You shouldn't just add PPG and APG. You should take into account how many points they create. At minimum, each assist results in two points.

Williams: 20+10(2) = 40
Nash: 17+12(2) = 41
Paul: 16+10(2) = 36
Rose: 23+8(2) = 39

LeBron: 26+7(2) = 40
Westbrook: 22 + 9(2) = 40

That's at minimum. I think it's just unfair and illogical to just simply add points and assists. He's still way up there, and having a great season but trying to use PPG + APG as a reason to back him is a bit ridiculous. If you're going to look at that kind of a metric, Value Added, or Estimated Wins Added may be better forms of measurement. Rose is 11th on VA (measures total points contributed as opposed to a replacement player), and 11th in EWA.

For the record, I'd have Rose in the middle of my top 10.[/quote]
Yeah, that's not the method I used.

Yeah, woops, I've been doing that since he came into the league, pretty bad considering he's one of my 3 favorite players too. Freudian slip.
