I'll be taking a little time. HeartBreakKid broke my heart with that pick.

Stockton is a great pick, especially paired with those athletic forwards.
He was one of those "sleepers" for sure. I contemplated taking him with my 3rd pick, but in the end, I decided that Manu was a more unique player...

SG Manu Ginobili (05-07)
SF Larry Bird (84-86)
PF Horace Grant (93-95)
C Dwight Howard (09-11)
+
Bernard King (82-84) Vlade Divac (95-97) Derek Harper (88-90) Dan Majerle (91-93) Josh Smith (10-12)

I'll take Melo. He was devastating in that spot up shooter role in the Olympics and he's gonna play the same role for me.

Ok, I don't have a choice. I need a perimeter defender who can score in the flow of an offense.

I'll take Joe Dumars.

He flourished offensively in Detroit with a guy like Isiah who is really a mediocre offensive PG compared to Nash. Imagine the possibilities with one of the two GOAT playmakers.

Not the greatest fit for my team, but this guy is too talented to be passed up.

One of my favorite players ever, Chris Webber

Damn, Nance was 1st on my list. :o

Now, I go in a different direction, but still pick a Cavs player. Actually, the leader of that dangerous Cavs-team from the early 90's. I don't have a point-guard yet, and well... prime Price is one of the best left. He is a fantastic shooter, which will come in handy, but still can create his own shot, break down defenses, attack the basket, and involve the other players. And if you foul him, you are doomed. In one word: the proto-Nash.

With their 4th pick, at #59, the ThunderDan Suns select Mark Price.

RSCD, you're up. I'm reminding you because the draft has grounded to a halt once again after getting a good flow yesterday.

I will draft a PG in the 4th round. Several good options left but I'll go with a guy who will be the 2nd option on offense behind Shaq:

Russell Westbrook.

I can't wait to make my next two picks, seeing who is available. I'm really happy with how things will be shaping up for my team.

Nice pick Center/PG combos don't work but Westbrook isn't really a PG so I like it.

With this pick I am going to complete my frontcourt since I don't want to lose this guy. So with my 4th pick I select ....

Shawn Kemp
