The fact hes had two games b2b in the finals facing elimination that are both in the argument for his top 5 games ever is completely insane. Its amazing to watch.

This is probably a knee jerk reaction but I think tonight might be my favorite LeBron game ever, right with g5 detroit and g6 boston. He was just absolutely dominant on both ends. He was just so freaking good in every facet of the game. Especially that second half.
He's the FMVP to me. No question.

So many haters in this forum. I find it ridiculous that a person could straight up say that LeBron is not a top 10 player of all time and not be mentally ill or in grave danger (AKA you gotta gun to your head)
LeBron's greatness is evident whether u like him or not, im sorry

Re: The Lebron Thread (2015-16 Pt. 4)
I clicked on this thread and immediately scrolled to the bottom so I could click "Post Reply" without any other responses influencing my thoughts. It may sound silly, but I have a tendency to let others' reactionary, post-game thoughts/posts influence what I say/feel after a game. And as an OKC fan, who leans more towards being a Durant fanboy than a Westbrook fanboy, I've always tried to excuse LeBron's greatness.
Anyway...with that said, LeBron has been, by a large margin, the best player not only in this series, but over the entirety of the playoffs. That's really, truly special when you consider that Curry had a regular season that had a number of people considering him for the GOAT peak or, at the very least, a top 5-10 peak of all-time. LeBron hasn't been great games 1-6 of the Finals; in fact, he was pretty "meh" in games one and two, but what he's done the last two games, with his team down 3-1 to force a game seven, has been nothing short of truly remarkable. At 31.5 years old, he's still doing things and having games that only a very select few in NBA history are/were capable of at his age. In the last two games where, again, his team was down 3-1 and on the brink of elimination, he's averaged 41-12-9-3-3.5. And he's been some kind of other level of great. A level of great that maybe only Jordan and one or two others have reached at their peak. Even if LeBron has a stinker of a game 7 and Cleveland loses, LeBron is still, at nearly 32 years old, making a case for a top 3 player of all-time. I wanted to deny that for as long as possible, but he's made it impossible to do so.

For those pointing to his G5 detroit dominance, this one 14 minute stretch is BONKERS
[Mark Strotman] From 5:00 3rd Q to 2:59 4th Q of Game 6, LeBron James went 9-14, 25 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal. Scored or assisted on 35 of 36 points (the 1 point was Kyrie's technical FT)

Everything feels right as it should be. Game 7 Lebron and Warriors havent lost 3 straight since November of 2013 (and Steph missed 2 of those games). Theres nothing analytic about it, it just feels right and meant to be on the heels of these performances that they do this.

Thats the crazy part. I have to think that something is different about this Warriors team right now. My theory: the accumulated injuries and fatigue are taking a toll. The Curry stuff, the Bogut and Iggy injuries, Draymond clearly being out of control, it all points to a team that is strung out and exhausted. That being said they could win easily on Sunday. Looking forward to this game like none other.

I already said I didn't watch the second half, but I'm thinking maybe the Draymond suspension was more important than just a game. Well documented that he is their emotional leader, and also that he felt super guilty about game 5 - texted the whole team sorry for not being there. Maybe he just feels too guilty to get on them and pump them up during off nights? Can't say "Y'all want this ring or not?" in the huddle when you couldn't control your own temper and forgot the bigger picture. Maybe I'm reaching.

Re: The Lebron Thread (2015-16 Pt. 4)
Lebron has had a finals performance comparable to Jordan's 1st finals performance(which is arguably his best) against a 73 win GS team.
Absolutely insane. I did not think he had this in him anymore.

Down 3-1 and decides to have his 1st 40pt games of the season. This is just insane. Im kinda speechless.

Even though this was one of my all time favorites games it is still game Game 6 Boston just given the circumstances, the stage of his career at the time, and the way he was just a cold blooded assassin killing them. All things considered this might have been his all time greatest all-around game considered how he did it on both ends but there was something more aesthetically pleasing about the way he assassinate Boston in Boston with and endless rain of no-hesitation mid-range shots while being practically expressionless the entire time.
Game 5 Detroit is what made us fall in love with the guy.
Game 6 Boston was LeBron getting the monkey off his back.
Game 6 tonight was him saying "did you guys forget I'm the best?"
And I'm hoping Game 7 will be the final solidification of his legacy. He will have absolutely nothing left to prove if he comes out victorious on Sunday.
There were so many times tonight where I just sat there thinking to myself "there's no way in f-ing hell LeBron is letting the Cavs lose tonight" after he made play after play. This is after Kyrie got a bit timid and the moment seemed to get a little too big for him.

Say what you want about the Kevin Love trade in the context of this series, but getting the 1 seed and going 12-2 is coming in handy right now. The Eastern Conference basically got to be a warm up jog for LeBron.

So this has to be his best postseason performance right? I put this over the Detroit game.
