uff, i would love that for okc and lakers (i would miss kenrich tho, okc needs to keep guys like him around)

not sure it makes sense for sixers since they probably can get somethingh more useful for harris

- Could easily be Muscala instead of Kenrich for OKC to give.

- 76ers are after expiring, if they get expirings then they can strongarm Nets into an SnT that favours them immensely. This is because they can clear enough space to sign Harden outright if they move Simmons into capspace for picks. So if Nets want Simmons then they need give Harden and assets. It's a beautiful setup to weaken Nets and strengthen Philly. I think even just the fear of this type of deal happening is what is driving the Nets to maybe deal Harden now instead of wait for offseason.

ohh that makes sense but i wonder if trading harris doesnt signal sixers giving up on this season if the harden trade doesnt get done? not thay they are favorites but harris is arguably their second best player

seems like trading him would be officially punting on this year (admittedly low) chances of a title run

Yeah they can't make a title run without Harden anyway. So for them it's simply the preference to get Harden now. But if Nets don't give a fair deal or don't want to trade Harden then they go for this option to trade Harris for expirings.

The situation here seems to have declined enough in the past few days to the point where they have to trade him right?

Does this team really feel like the rest of this season will be anything other than a disaster if he stays? Maybe they're okay with that though honestly, idk.

they may talk themselves into thinking that once shown a vote of confidence in him not getting traded westbrook will play with less stress/pressure/nerves recover his confidence and do a much better job the rest of the season

is unlikely but if no good trade comes the lakers may give it a go and hope for a surprising return to form

They don't have to trade him. Situation isn't that bad.

Westbrook is playing badly and he knows it, but he's thinking he needs the option to play through it in the 4th. He knows it's out of his control to play through it in the 4th. He probably feels bad he's let his friends in LeBron and AD down. I feel bad for Westbrook, would not like to be performing this badly in front of family and friends. His dream was to play for the Lakers and now it's a nightmare.

I think the team would empathise with Westbrook and understand where his comments come from. They want his confidence to stay up. They just need to find a way for him to be productive and helpful for the team. I think being the lead off the bench is the best way for everyone.

Probably a hush, hush team imposed suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.

Trade for Wall is most likely, cool with it as long as it doesn't involve an FRP from Lakers

This season is a throwaway.

The Lakers should hold onto all of their assets and try bringing Westbrook off the bench. Try it and see what happens.

Try to deal him in the offseason when his huge expired has more value to teams.

Can’t wait for the headlines tomorrow after the Lakers blowout the Blazers without Westbrook.

I would now welcome that trade, so long as the 1st round pick is not attached. Two second round picks seem like fair enough compensation for this contract swap.

Another uncalled headshot against LeBron already this game.

What gets reviewed for being flagrants for every other player in the league isn’t even a common foul for LeBron. It’s a little ridiculous at this point and I’m starting to wonder if somethings a little fishy here.

Blazers have had 9 more possessions than Lakers..

4 more offensive rebounds and 5 less turnovers

Without the possession differential Lakers would be up by 20 already

Only the Lakers can have a 9 made threes to none advantage, a 58% to 42% shooting advantage and lead by only 9  What the hell happened to AD’s ft shooting?

Portland have 8 extra points of turnovers than Lakers and have 5 more offensive boards. That's at least 12 points. Lakers should be up by 20 in this one at the half if they could show some effort.

I wonder if adding that weight broke his shot. He's also shooting horrendously on threes at 18%.

If you look at splits of AD last season you can see that after he had his Achilles/calf injury he hadnt regained his shooting efficiency until now.

His ts% was above 600 for the months prior to injury last year and was around 500 for the months when he returned last season.

So far this season he was around 560 prior to injury and now since coming back from injury he's back at 600 again.
