Damn they say a grade 1 strain takes 2-4 weeks to heal pfffff-

On the bright side this might force Rob to trade for a Center finally

But yeah without AD this team is streaking.

My guess he's gonna be out for 3-4 weeks. It's time to get a real center now

We'll see what Rob does. All star break still a while left. This team is going on a losing streak.

We'll probably hover around 7-8 the entire season and ultimately lose in the first round again.

Team would be a lot better if they still had last year's LeBron. Pelinkduh waited too long as usual and now LeBron just doesn't have superstar impact anymore.

Turner probably fits a bit better next to AD, but I think Kessler can fit fine in certain lineups

Would need to stagger more with AD and Kessler and Kessler would probably play less min, but Kessler can be your C for the next 10 years or so

I still think if Utah could get a 1st, Knecht and unprotecting 27, they would be potentially insane to not take it. We would be selling low on Knecht honestly

Then swing Rui for 3rd ball handler or a very good shooter like Duncan Robinson/Klay/etc to come off the bench

If Kessler isnt available then go for Turner, if hes not available then go for Rw3 or Mitchell Robinson

We got a little over 1 week to figure it out, hopefully get something done before though

I think it's possible for them to win 4 out of next 7 games even without a serviceable center

FO is so dumb leaving AD as the most healthy 5. Of course he's going to get injured if he's the only rim protector for 82 games. Had months to get a 5 but put all their eggs in the same injured basket. Even AD had to go on National TV to beg for one. Now just wait till Vando gets injured again and Wood is declared officially out for the season. Dumb ownership just hired Kobe's agent based on his jawline. Says a lot how much of a schmuck an agent must have been when the guys he was supposed to be negotiating against actually like him.

This team and this coach instills no confidence in me saying they'll win 4 out of 7 without AD.

How the hell did he end up with 31 points? I know a lot of the losers like to talk about stat padding with him, but last night they may have FINALLY been right. He was garbage the first three quarters. Disinterested and disengaged. I thought he might have exerted effort due to the Eagles players in attendance. Maybe, he was saving himself for the after party :)

So AD is out for at least a week, likely 2-3 weeks

Should honestly just give him post the ASB

He shouldn’t play that game probably

Just recover and don’t let him come back gimpy, need AD and Bron healthy in the playoffs go have any shot

I think this trade should force Robs hand in getting a C

8 more days, but hoping a deal is done sooner

Let’s not slip in our seedings

Just goes to show you how hard it is to make it to the nba. Bronny has the goat as his dad. Smartest mind ever. Every ounce of training facility at his disposal since he was born and still sucks so bad.

Makes you appreciate a guy like Reaves and how hard he had to work to become what he is.

I’m sure lebron wanted his son to be even better than he was. I wonder if bron ever thinks, damn bronny sucks, where did i go wrong? He can still love bronny but be severely disappointed inside

If he an ordinary father, I don't think he will feel anything like that. Hell, even if he isn't, that would just be a foolish take: He is probably 100% aware how insanely talented he was. There is only so much you can do with training...

LeBron is happy Bronny is healthy and alive now after the health scare.

Doubt he cares much about his NBA skills.

I don't think Turner is realistic or necessary. For Lakers to give up an FRP they'd need to be expecting to get a baller, a player that can take over a game every now and then. I don't know if Turner is that type of guy, more an elite role player.

Vucevic is more the type to lift a team, I'd be wondering if Lakers can just do Rui+JHS for Vuc.

Vucevic doesn't lift a team anywhere beyond play-in level. I don't think Chicago would take that package anyway, but it wouldn't really solve anything for the Lakers.

Well what type of big should Lakers go for?

Someone who can actually keep the defense afloat when AD is off the court. Turner would be a much better archetype than Vuc (although he's not the same defender he was a few years ago). Timelord would be great but of course he's made of glass.

Interesting article by Woike. Center market appears to be dwindling, would much rather target some of these guard/wings. If Kessler and Turner are off the market, not a fan of any of the other bigs they're currently linked to.

Lonzo, Ayo, and Mathurin are compelling targets. Never really considered Mathurin: maybe JHS/Wood/Reddish/2028 swap/2029 FRP for Mathurin.

AR/Christie/LBJ/DFS/AD
Gabe/Mathurin/Vando/Rui

Mathurin doesn't add playmaking but young with decent size and adds shooting and bench scoring. Not sure how good he is defensively. You still have Rui to move for a big.
