To arrange them in a different manner:

Lebron (1)
Wade (2-3)
Dwight (2-3)
Kobe (4-5)
Durant (4-6)
Deron (5-8)
Dirk (6-8)
CP3 (5-7)
Nash (8-10)
Rose (9-12)
Amare (9-12)
Melo (9-12)

With the numbers in their para being the acceptable placing.

Or, effectively:

Listed player: Players that are better than that player.

Lebron: Noone.
Wade: Dwight (?)
Dwight: Wade (?)
Kobe: Lebron, Wade, Dwight, Durant (?)
Durant: LWD, Kobe (?)
Deron: LWDKD, Dirk (?)
Dirk: LWDKD, Deron (?)
CP3: LWDKDDD, Nash (?)
Nash: LWDKDDD, CP3 (?)
Rose: LWDKDDDCN
Amare: LWDKDDDCN, Melo (?)
Melo: LWDKDDDCN, Amare (?)

In other words:

Lebron
Wade/Dwight
Kobe/Durant
Deron/Dirk
CP3/Nash
Rose
Amare/Melo

Deron/Dirk and CP3/Nash can also be interchanged, but to a lesser extent.

No way Lebron or Wade deserve top 3 with the way Miami has under-achieved. Even if they are the two best players in the league (or, at worst, two of the top 4).

Nice contradiction.
How is it a contradiction? They can't be 1 and 2 when they're team is underachieving so dramatically, hence they're ranked 4 and 5. Rose may not be better than either, but he sure as hell has played better than both, hence his team's performance and his ranking on this list.

And Lebron and Wade being #1 and #2 is a valid opinion, but not totally factual. At this point I still prefer Kobe to Wade, and in a number of situations I prefer both to James.

Basketball is a TEAM sport not an individual sport. Chicago has better chemistry than Miami, but Lebron is better than Rose and he should be ranked higher than him. He is also having a better year than Rose if you look at their individual stats. I like Rose more than Lebron also, but I'd be biased if I said that Lebron isn't the best player in the NBA.

Heat fans are the only ones that think they have the best two players in the NBA, atleast based on this season's play. Dwight and Rose have clearly been better. Kobe and Wade are pretty even, interchangeable, though I still give Kobe a slight advantage.

lol @ Wade having better D than Kobe. Wade doesn't have a single first team all NBA Defensive in his resume. Kobe earns it every season.

Yeah, and it's been unwarranted for a while now. All D team is a joke.

If Kobe gets it again this year for letting players get by him and doing absolutely nothing on the defensive end, i'm gonna be mad.

Have you seen Kobe's defense this year? He's gotten so slow he cant stay in front of people anymore. I dont know why im trying to use logic with you, your just a blind hater

Wade came in like the top 3 in DPOY behind Lebron and Dwight 2 years ago and he only made 2nd team defense, its a joke. Thabo is probably better then both though
