Interesting I'll try and be more open minded on Bamba. I guess it's easier to see Bryant impacting the game because most of his stuff comes from offense and the glass, I'll really have to pay more attention to see how effective Bamba is on defense because it doesn't seem like his presence is felt too often. But clearly I'm in the minority with that take. Lakers gonna need to hang their hat on defense to have any chance at making noise this year because watching that Kings and Clippers game I really doubt they can outgun any of these top offenses.

I don’t think Bamba’s going to impact the defense much right now, but he’s got potential to do so, and he also spaces the floor well which is good for when they twin-tower with AD and want to play big.

This year's playoff picture looks more like a race for playoff disqualification. So many nights where the entire field loses. It might actually be harder to miss the playoffs.

Shows just how bad the Westbrook era Lakers were to be 13th in this conference. Meaning the only teams they outperformed were the teams already losing on purpose.

To be clear, bamba is like a C+ on defense

We're one loss out of the 8th seed, whilst sitting at the 13th seed. It's kinda insane how close and important these last 20 games will be. The top 4 seem fairly secure with the Nuggets, Grizz, Kings & Suns, and I believe the Clippers will hold onto that 5th spot as well. After that its just one big bloodbath

AD is kind of a crappy offensive focal point. Lead scorer for sure but but the offense should have looked better when he was getting doubled.
