Fool's gold though. Lakers shot 43% from 3, Denver 23%. No way that happens again. Generally Denver was still doing the same things that made them win the last 9 games they played against LA.

Yea this loss is up there with game 1 vs Warriors,and the 2011 Mavs series.

I thought they executed perfectly in the 1st half. Not sure what happens in the 2nd

It’s crazy how inevitable this felt. Like at no point in the second half did it feel like the Lakers were in control.

I would have felt good if I thought their execution would hold up under pressure, but as usual they crapped the bed and pretty much stopped running anything with purpose. Only insane shotmaking from LeBron/DLo and a bunch of Nuggets shots rimming out prevented them from losing the lead earlier.

That legit hurt my heart. Rui and the bench have been absolute trash.

Eh, I don't think I agree that the series is all that different. Denver has won 10 straight games against this team. It took a 20% shooting disparity from 3 to even get this game to be this close. I honestly think Denver is as much of a favorite over this team as GSW was against CLE.

Lebron shot that 3 too early. He was so open after the defender fell so I get it...but damn.

They just can't beat this team. All Denver needs is a quarter. A great quarter by them or a bad one by LA. Hell not even a a full quarter...6mins and thats all they need.

Outscored 57-40 in the 2nd half. There was a 12 minute stretch from 3rd to 4th qtr where Lakers had 8 points. The whole team just collectively froze and you could see the writing on the wall right there....
