Vogel is very "creative" with rotations. Honestly don't know, wtf he's doing

If Bron was playing like this on the 2018 Cavs we'd be down 15+. His jumper is just crucial at this stage in his career without a good first step or explosiveness in traffic.

Kuz's defense has been really solid, whether it's keeping up with CJ on the perimeter or stonewalling Nurkic near the low post.

LeBron’s ball handling has been bad this game so far.

Need to keep going to LeBron in the post. He's not handling Trent's ball pressure particularly well.

I'm actually ok with his all around game. It doesn't take much for bounces to go differently in his favor in the second half. They're playing good ball a lot of the time and overall he's generating high value inside plays

Yeah Bron being doubled is not a winning strategy for Portland. He hasn't been out of the world but he's been good.

Also, you know how bad these refs are when they forgot who's ball it is after a timeout. Jeez.

ADs softness is a big difference in LeBron being able to bring it up vs having Dwight on the floor. They gotta just run Gary Trent's legs into the meatgrinder for 48 Mins. Hit him hard with screens and take him down to the block and decimate his stamina. Melo has no shot to guard him. The defense is solid, once you find out what works on offense this will turn into a blowout backdoor sweep

Bron’s perimeter game has not looked great in the bubble. He’s not able to break down the defense effectively.

Also, all this ball pressure is a key reason why I'm not a fan of full time point guard LeBron. Just too exhausting. Get a proper, shooting point guard in the off season (and play Waiters in these playoffs) and let him cook from the low post.

He missed like 2 layups that were either not contested or free gimmes and guys arent hitting his threes, hes fine

Ad is so good when hes agressive, his faceup game is crazy. Kuzma looks good too

Lebron clearly needs to regain his stamina. If the lakers make it out this round, it will go a ways to getting the whole team toward being in decent physical shape.

People in this thread were overreacting too much on AD.

There were posts on how they wouldn't be significantly worse with Bam instead of AD.

AD's scoring is so important for the Lakers.

With Bam here instead, you lose a #1 option scoring wise.

They'd get much worse.

Nice to see early-season KCP show up. Looks so different from game 1.
