He's an all timer man that dude has a better chance of figuring out how to score on these bigs than they do on figuring out how to hold him down lol

There were posts on how they wouldn't be significantly worse with Bam instead of AD.

I stand by it

AD's scoring is so important for the Lakers.

With Bam here instead, you lose a #1 option scoring wise.

They'd get much worse.

But you can run an offense through Bam. He's one of the best passing bigs in the league and 2nd best grab and go player at his position

This could end up being LeBron's toughest scoring series. The rest of their likely path in the western conference doesn't have rim protection like the Blazers, and he's going to get his legs back the further they go.

The spell is boutta be broken on DG. He's got confidence now after his own effort play got him that corner 3 from Javale trusting him

Bron needs to keep practicing his jumper rest of the game.

No way. They've got rim protection, sure, but the difference between Gary Trent Jr. & Carmelo Anthony as primary defenders vs. Kawhi Leonard/Paul George is . . . well, pretty large.

This is the worst I've ever felt about LeBron as a scorer. Just nothing he can rely on right now outside of posting up mismatches.

I was talking more about Whiteside and Nurkic. And neither PG and Kawhi provide rim protection. Zubac is good though.

This, I am a bit worried the deeper we get

Lebron has to post up smaller guys

He doesn't have the speed to blow by bigs anymore, he needs to be a full time 4

At some point, AD and Lebron have to just come to terms and play the 5 and the 4 like Lebron in Miami. Kuzma can be the 3/4

Pretty funny how people spend years watching basketball but are beholden to the most recent boxscore

Dame had an awful game.

Wonder how they respond next game. Should be interesting.

LeBron’s scoring is concerning but the Lakers are up 30 points with lebron only having 10 points, so I’m going to happy for now. This wouldn’t happen in Cleveland.

I do think they've been a bit overly reluctant to run the AD at the 5 lineups, but if they can keep up something close to this level of defense by playing McGee/Dwight, who cares if LeBron's scoring is down? A win is a win whether its LBJ putting up big numbers or the team playing shutdown D. Whether that's doable vs the better teams or not, we'll see.
