Guy is dumb as bricks but I'd easily retire Durant's number if I were OKC. I mean, no questions asked. Seems like a really petty move not to.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

I pretty much just see KD being loyal to his friend, which I think is a positive trait.

Because if there's one thing we know NBA owners aren't, it's pretty. ;)

Best Minnesota since 2004! Maybe even best in franchise history [not a lot of history there].

Ownership is the most important part of a successful basketball team. Prove me wrong.

Enough of a return that I’m not pissed at the FO, but I will be cheering for the Wolves a lot this season.

Smart play for Brooklyn is just Kevin no trade is happening unless we get a mammoth haul. You can retire if you don't like it. And tell Kyrie your only chance of a max is giving us a great season. I don't see any organizational value for Brooklyn of trading Russ for Kyrie.

Probably won't work but this is rare circumstance were playing hardball with players is the correct of action.

And before you think I'm anti-player. I oppose the players draft, max salaries, rookie scale, limitations on year negotiations. I'm much more pro-player than the average guy on realgm.

It's amazing that the Wolves didn't have to give up any core players and yet they still got objectively fleeced. I would be sick to my stomach about giving away that many unprotected draft picks/swaps just for Rudy.

Jazz are clearly going full Danny Ainge and time will tell how that goes - he's one of the best in the biz tho - the question though of how the KAT/Edwards/Gobert/Russell Timberwolves is very, very interesting.

In fairness, I don't think pride is driving Durant.

Durant is a foolish man following the Pied Piper on a path to career oblivion out of an inability recognize Kyrie the Piper is a false prophet. Kyrie is driven by pride and irrationality.

Shaq was one of the most immature players in NBA history. It would have taken him 5 seconds to realize Kyrie is full of ****.

Lol, they’ve always been my local team, so I know how it is, but maybe this’ll be the time right?

My first thought was that squad looks like it could push 60 wins.

This is a good trade but there is no reason to keep Mitchell now.

Rudy is way better than you realize. And your judging him on the basis of a small sample size of PS series. Minnesota is potentially a favorite in the west.

The price is fine, draft picks are just draft picks, you're getting one of the 2 best defensive players in this generation. If the fit works out, the value is not a problem.

That's obviously a big "if" in this case though. It's a huge risk whether or not KAT and Gobert will be able to play together and IDK what the Wolves perimeter defense looks like at this point. That's the issue with the trade for me.

McDaniels is a stud defensively and his 6' 9" frame has proven to stay infront of most 2's.

The question is if Nowell can take a step forward and can SlowMo and Prince guard 2s/3s?

SlowMo and Prince are strong enough to fight over screens which should help in a heavy drop scheme.
