What a hell of a way to close that, especially lights out defense. Bron saw nothing but RED with Nurkic at the basket down the stretch.

I really don’t like the way DLO plays. Yeah he can get it going but he just does not play smart basketball - he plays anti-playoff basketball basically.

Bron has been picking his spots so far this year but in those spots he seems pretty damn good. Really really hope he can stay healthy. He’s been better than his stats show so far.

Wood has actually been really good in both games and has paired exceptionally well with James.

Lakers with James on court: 116.2 ORtg., 95.6 DRtg, +20.6 per 100
Lakers with James off court: 72.1 ORtg, 125.0 DRtg, -52.9 per 100

Yeah I'm liking what I see. I wanted Bruce Brown and Wood as starters in the offseason. I'd be keen to see some iteration of Reaves, Lebron, Wood, Davis with a POA defender and ballhandler

Dunno where would they find another PO caliber shot creator. Dlo is not it, Reaves looks uncomfortable with the ball so far

I don’t get why they’re struggling so much with Bron off the court. On paper I feel like they should be better compared to the last couple of years. It’s gonna get Bron injured again if they don’t figure it out.

Lakers lose with the minutes restriction LeBron has against the nuggets

It IS Reaves. Cmon, it's been two games. He was a great third option in the Playoffs last year and he's going to only improve from here.

The thing they need more is a 3&D guard to pair Reaves with i.e. Caruso.

Obviously this probably won’t last, but Wood has rebounded really well and has been a willing defender and taken on court instruction from James and and AD.

James/AD/Wood: +89.0 per 100
James/Wood/DLo: +73.6
James/Wood/Vincent: +70.6

Dennis Schroder

They’re trying to figure their best defensive and best offensive lineups on the fly, but they miss Schroeder this year. But Reaves should be and will be that player once they figure out how the touches and optimal usage is distilled. Vincent was a positive force yesterday even while missing every open three, but he’s a different type of player than Schroeder.

Yeah, DLO is unwatchable. Not sure why he has fans :)

Ehh, to me he's a secondary playmaker, not the guy who constantly runs the offense

Only 2 games one of which was vs the champs
Minute restriction's new pieces and AD didn't score In the second half against Denver. The numbers will normalize. hopefully

Dubs look like they might be over the hill. Another championship would be a miracle for Bron lol. The competition is too fierce now for a late career all timer

Probably true, but Dlo isn't a #1 either and for some reason we are taking the ball more out of Bron and Reaves' hand and giving it more to DLO

I don't trust his decision making fully. Takes some bad shots and last night he literally messed up a 4 on 1 fast break

His defense was actually better it seemed like, but got lost a bit vs Denver (who are just very very tough to defend)

I feel like a Dlo and Rui/Vando (plus some assets, mix of Christie, JHS, first, swaps) for Harden deal could happen if we feel like we dont have enough firepower

Honestly what sticks out catching the replay for AD. That man just sets weak screens. If he set better screens he'd be a lot more open. It's not hard to set a good screen either, he just doesn't put in the effort to take that extra step and hustle to get up super close to the man and generate the most contact. He always lazily stops a half step short and lays no wood pause

Lakers make the WCF a series if they had Caruso instead of Schroeder
