Klay is just on fire tonight. Excellent chance he winds up with more 3s than anyone not named Stephen Curry has had in a season. He is likely to hover right around that Ray Allen season which was the record pre Steph

Curry played a good game passing the ball to Klay when he is really hot. Missed a few easy layups but overall not bad considering he will be face the spurs tomorrow. Lets go!

Got to say that 3 off the very corner of the glass from the corner after spinning Dirk like a top was just I mean words and such.....

Oh and Klay was just so dialed in tonight.

So true, I feel like if I tried that by myself on a court a thousand times, I still wouldn't be able to make it once. He's basically doing the old Bird vs Jordan McDonalds commercials in games. Off the rail, over the train, through the window, off the floor, nothing but net.

The spurs athletic wings seem to be bothering him a little, I wonder if pop has solved the warriors? ( sarcasm )

He did miss two wide open threes. It wouldn't look so bad if he made those like you would expect him to.

The defensive attention Curry is getting in this game is obscene. Never seen another player defended like this. Warriors will probably figure something out at halftime to take advantage of it a little more.

It's how you should defend him. Blitz/ show him out to 30 feet. Pick him up at half court. Switch all screens. Make him drive into rim protectors/ try to be a playmaker. He's still not an amazing finisher in traffic (70% at the rim is more because he destroys people with his handle and gets relatively uncontested layups/ Warriors spacing means help is always late) and he's a bit turnover prone (not as gifted a playmaker as a CP3 or Lebron). Those are really his only 2 weaknesses and nitpicky at best which is why he's the offensive BOAT. But that's how good he is and how you should be the optimal way to defend him.

Love the Spurs telling Curry we will just force you to drive when we switch or shoot over a taller guy right in your face from 3. Curry dribbling into bigs that are waiting for him isn't going to finish at a high % over them.

Defensive rebounding is a legitimate concern for the Warriors. And Aldridge deserves a lot of credit for his defense today.

Pop told him he can play as much as he wants because he's already led a franchise that hasn't won anything prior to him joining to a title.

Kawhi/Green always defend him really well. People were overreacting to Curry scoring 2 FGs vs. Kawhi in the 1st game(and 0 vs. Danny Green, who always plays him well). Curry is the best PG I've ever seen(didn't watch Magic in his prime) and he'll always have his video game stretches, but the Spurs are more well-equipped to guard him than anybody with the best perimeter defensive duo in the NBA + Aldridge's mobility.

Curry usually doesn't have several bad games in a row, and I can't recall him having an entire playoff series where he was off. Spurs are better equipped to do so, but even so I don't see Curry being held down for an entire series.

This is true, the spurs have the perimeter defense to slow down Curry with Green and Kawhi. I thought the bigs would get exposed but they did a fantastic job last night. I'm hoping it was tired legs why Curry didn't attack the paint more frequently against them.

Was definitely surprising to see Steph not attempt to drive or drive and kick more when facing the Spurs bigs, particularly Duncan, instead opting for contested three's or a dump to someone else.

Definitely some credit to the SAS switching, which was pretty darn impressive, but looking at the numbers, it suggested Steph had a really off night on many open shots:
