Blazers/clippers came to my mind too. I think that's a solid bet

Bulls/Knicks obviously has market size and all the ex Bulls tie ins ( for that reason it's better in Chicago than msg ) , I get the appeal... but I'd rather have a Wade return game

Also could be Bulls/Cavs xmas as well and Warriors/Spurs

Christmas game is Warriors Cavs guaranteed.

Well we had that last year. I mean we didn't get Xmas day game of Spurs and Heat in 2014 after a fantastic 7 game series in 2013.

Fairly certain the Christmas game will be Thunder vs Warriors at OKC.

Good to hear he doesn't think he's "done" after breaking the Cleveland Curse. I would love to see him give the MVP a solid try next season to bring himself up to 5. He has as good a chance as anyone, with the "Best Player Alive" belt back + the Warriors Monstars taking votes from each other.

Fortunately since the confirmation of the co-GOAT James Jones's return to the Cavs, he should have everything he needs to get over the hump.

I like it :)

He is chasing the Ghost of Chicago and that is now Dwyane Wade, that is what he meant. He does not want to see him in the playoffs next year. :D

It's a shame he choked in 2011 because if he'd played at his normal standard he'd be that much closer to mj. It's not about it being a negative but hed have one more title, finals mvp and great playoff run under his belt. Everything in the playoffs leading up to the finals was great.

Also one less loss with HCA as well.

Agreed it would make his case measuring up-to to Jordan better from a career accomplishment standpoint. However, Wade would have won that FMVP, he was fantastic in the Finals. All LeBron had to do was play a bit more aggressive early on. They honestly had it but let the title slip with bad end of regulation decisions where they took turns going hero-ball mode.

Wade wouldn't have won if lebron played at his normal standard though....

He and the team did learn a lot from that finals though so maybe if they win the success that followed wouldn't have been as good.

2015 is another what if. Healthy team and another possible title. Regardless that finals mvp should be his, he was so much better than Iggy it's a joke.

Not to mention my beloved KG would be viewed as better than Dirk by most because of Dirk not getting a ring!

Kevin Love played great defense for the entire NBA Finals. I thought it was such BS in game 6 when he received two tic-tac fouls, because even though he wasnt scoring, he was doing a fantastic job on Green and also on the perimeter.

I will try and find it, but I read something in the last week or two about how the stat's guys for Cleveland actually like the match-up of Love on Curry defensively.

My bias against him on that end def clouded my judgement. Probably the same for a lot of people too. However his defensive stats were really good in the finals, which made me watch the games again. He was def good, aside from a few moments in PnR which were mainly anecdotes or things few bigs would have succeeded in.

People are really overrating loves defense in the finals now. He did ok. Much better for him but it was nothing to get too excited about.

More significant was currys idiotic play. He just wanted to shoot a step back three every possession there was a switch. He could have drove around love and even TT quite often and had our defense scrambling but he didn't really learn as the series went on.
I know his game is behind the three point line but he could have mixed it up and exposed our defense.

Ah well dirk is a great guy I'm glad he won one.

Watched those game 6 highlights the other day. One of the most sub par championship celebrations ever.

That was career defining as it was during his prime and was one of his best chances at a title. That single year in the Finals made some people not be lenient about his situation in 2014 and 2015 when he was fighting uphill. If he won though the general consensus on Dirk would be that he's the choker even though Dirk didn't have HCA. Seems like we'll have to wait another 15 years for another generational talent to garner the accolades to challenge MJ since LeBron's only fading now.

He just had his greatest ever playoff run I don't think he's fading too much just yet.

Anyone know how many different jersey's the Cavs have had since Lebron has been there? I am sure the CavsFanatic will be the most popular now since it was the one worn when they won it all.
