As for Dragic: It's legitimately sad how unfair life can be at times. But I mean he's a multimillionaire at the top of his profession with a smoking hot partner so I won't feel too sad

Vernon from the Ringer is already steering towards Dragic being the sole reason the Lakers win, even though they were blowing them out when he was IN the game.

Loool at seething LeBron haters. They gone from “his cliff has arrived,” “the bubble equalizes everything and is pure basketball,” to “Blazers are the best 8th seed ever and bubble dame is sending LeChoke home,” to “The math doesn’t work for the Lakers vs Harden and the Rockets,” to “Can the Nuggets please win?!” to “rigged NBA screwing the Nuggets!” to “AD bailing out Bron,” to “Miami has the defense and guts to win this,” “to easiest path ever fraud!!” to “please AD outperform LeBron so he doesn’t get a 4th MVP.”

Loool, man

Miami already had basically no chance imo and that Dragic injury seals it. At this point the only thing I’m wondering is who wins Finals MVP between Bron and AD.

Yeah this is now a sweep. I don't care who wins FMVP but my guess is it goes to LeBron even though AD will probably lead the team in scoring.

Even with Dragic the Heat were giving me 2015 Hawks vibes, just totally overmatched.

Nah Heat aren't 2015 Hawks bad. They have Jimmy who can channel Bron at his best for stretches

That is a big insult to the Heat.

They're way better than those Hawks.

Just because the Lakers are a level above them, doesn't mean they're equivalent to the 2015 Hawks.

They beat 2 East teams that are clearly better than the 2015 Hawks as well.

They still have a bunch of shooters too that can get hot and win a game for them.

I could see Spo/Riley throwing the kitchen sink at Bron the next few games for Ad to boost his numbers. A short series and this is looking like a sweep really favors Ads chances at Fmvp

Even if Riley felt petty enough to want that, it would be disrespectful to Spo to ask him to alter his gameplan for that reason, not to mention to his players. And I don't get the sense that Spo has any beef with LeBron.

I think that with Dragic out Spo will make adjustments to play with bigger lineups (with Adebayo and Olynyk) against AD what will be helpful for LeBron to track Robinson/Hero/Olynyk on switches instead of playing against four perimeter defenders and Bam.

LeBron played great game statistically today with ~25 Game Score, it may be enough to get FMVP with media narrative on his side. But it's that much relevant only to LeBron's haters I presume.

They look pretty ****.

I've been saying this for a minute. Our role players are so good cuz they're 2-way lol. There's no reason to think the Heat got us across the board. The one guy the Heat had that's clearly better than KCP was Dragic and he's out. The role players are a tossup. Dwight is playing somewhere between Dennis Rodman and Tristan Thompson level. Rondo hitting 3s automatically places him at like late career JKidd level. Caruso GOAT. C'mon sonnn
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Glad he’s close to another title. Wish he could have won in 2017 ( which I think is his offensive peak)

I’m excited for next season. I want to see if the Warriors can contend again, how the KD-Kyrie Nets look, for Denver and Dallas to potentially each take another step, if Miami can add another piece, and how LAC and Milwaukee look after disappointing exits.

If the Lakers win this title, I’m really curious if they’ll follow it up with a dominant regular season next year.

It'll be interesting to see how the Nets round their team out.

They desperately need defense.

I think the Nets could be a big disappointment. Kyrie has so many holes in his game that LeBron had to cover for. Durant didn't have those abilities at his best - and expecting him to get back to his previous level as a high-mileage 32 year old coming off a torn achilles is a big ask. Nash is a smart guy so maybe he can max out their potential but I'm pretty low on them.
