Allie Clifton said on Windhost pod I think that after 2016 he said he had 3-5 years left at that level... but he appears to be the same guy in 2020

2015 Finals dragging his efficiency way down :(

I'll never really know how to evaluate that series.

The chapters for LeBron's future doc are so clear cut:

Part 1 High School prodigy

Part 2 Young phenom aka Cavs pt.1,

Part 3 Big 3 Heat Years

Part 4 Cavs Return and the promised ring,

Part 5 Lakers champ bookend.

I hope they get a good director because the story is all there.

Do you guys think if Lebron's next season is as good as this last one, they will give him regular season MVP?

I feel like even if Giannis has more stats and better record, LeBron easily has the narrative

Did what he could against an elite defensive team that could totally lock in on him with zero fear that anybody else was going to beat them. Iguodala got the Finals MVP because he kind of slowed him down, with ample help from his teammates. That series is a feather in his cap for me, not a negative.

Otherwise, those numbers are insane. Absolutely insane.

I was 8 years old when I watched LeBron play basketball for the first time. I was in the 2nd grade sneaking out of my room after bedtime to watch his high school team play. Now, I’m 26 years old and I just watched him win a 4th championship. I know it might sound dumb because I’m just a fan, but it’s been a helluva journey, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Unless Lakers youth takes a step forward (THT/Caruso/Kuzma/Cacock/Anetoukompo), Lakers arent gonna finish high enough in the RS for the award. At this point, i think the Lakers/Lebron know if they get to the playoffs healthy, they'll be the team to beat, regardless of seed. And there probably wont even be HCA next year either

But Green and Kuzma...yikes. They just don’t cut it. Lakers gotta move them and look to add some actual quality shooters to the lineup.

Green makes the cut no? Kuzma's off-ball movement and defense were great, his IQ will get better with another year and he can still work on his shooting

I'm not crazy about him but Green is much better than Morris. At least he has shooting gravity, he plays good team defense, and he doesn't make many mistakes outside of missing shots.

I think McGee, Morris, Kuzma, and Bradley are the rotation guys who definitely need to be replaced.

Morris gave them great minutes this series though. Butler scored on him seemingly every time, but they were TOOOOUGH contests. I think you're way off on that one.

Wasn't Bradley great pre-bubble too? He was a huge part of their defense and a massive loss in the bubble

Their relationship seems great. AD was so happy and he seems totally fine being the “second best player”. What a great teammate.

It's weird. The WCF trophy presentation AD spoke about as if the offense was going through him and all that

And yes, when they were goofing around I didn't catch what AD said, but also presumed it was somethign around it being his trophy, or that he was gonna get it next year

Fair enough. I probably don't give that series enough credit because of how freaking ugly that 2015 Cavs team was to watch once Love and Kyrie went down. They played with a ton of heart and grit but god did that cast suck offensively.

This it the RealGM LeBron thread version of the Thanks Obama meme being retired. How are we gonna argue against the man himself?

Then again, his LeGM skills aren't exactly the best. 2013 LeBron would swallow up 2020 LeBron on D and just overwhelm him with a superior motor don't @ me

This one became obvious to me in the last game, forget the audacity to try 30 ft shots in the finals, there was a possession where he methodically broke down his defender in the post with stop-go moves, young Lebron was more of a straight line guy. Was easy to read and it exacerbated his struggles against rim protectors
