Honestly insane. The sound on that fall sure sounded like it was a fracture or just clean break.

Maybe we'll see another butt pad enhanced hot streak from Curry this season

Re: 2024-25 NBA Season Discussion
Imo Mobley just fumbled Dpoy after Wemby was done for the season. Hes been getting cooked in isos the last week. Mobley is an incredible help defender allows Garland and Mitchell to get torched and him able to recover on plays but when teams start targetting Mobley as the primary defender their help and backline defense completely collapses specially if he cant guard that offensive player. Harden had him doing the salsa. Kings were constantly targetting him on defense even down the stretch in clutch minutes and got a basket every time. Kd absolutely torched him. Phoenix has a little white guard who was calling for a screen to get Mobley on him i was like Omg lol teams dont try that **** w/ Ad or Draymond. Someone like Rudy yeah but Cavs recent stretch has showed the impact of having great individual iso defense too Imo specially after what Draymond did against Giannis

Re: 2024-25 NBA Season Discussion
The Cavaliers have been great all season and their SRS isn't indicative of them being lucky, but I feel like we'll look back on this team in a few years and wonder how the heck they had the RS success they had. They're like a better version of the Jazz team in 2021.
I wouldn't be shocked if they had a very hard time(potentially upset too) vs the Bucks in round 2(presuming Giannis doesn't get injured again).

Theyve had alot of shooting luck Tbh.............theyre a great shooting team Atkinson is a great coach they generate great looks but their percentages have been some 2k or Kd era Warriors **** and their personell just doesnt match that. 38.7% from 3 by far 1st and 58.2% from 2......by far 1st again. While opponents shooting 36% from 3 which is 16th and only 52% from field which is 3rd best.........top 3 Fg% defense w/ a small ass Garland and Mitchell backcourt which is bad defensively and alot of minus defenders like Jerome, Merrill, Dean and pre trade Caris and Niang.......the shooting hasnt been there for them this losing streak and Mitchell who has been a historically hot and cold scorer has been ice cold
As for the Bucks i can see the Pacers beating them again in the 1st round even w/ Giannis playing this time

The Eastern Conference is looking like the 2016 West. 1 favorite(Celtics/Warriors), 1 respected challenger(Cavaliers/Spurs), 1 disrespected challenger(Bucks/Thunder). I could see the Bucks giving a challenge and even beating both teams, I could see them underachieve like the 2015 Clippers.
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

What are the chances that Jokic ends up like KG? Historically great player that ends up with just one title because of front office mismanagement?

That's up to Jokic. He's already got one title in the books and he's still at an MVP level. Nobody is forcing him to stay in Denver. He can request a trade whenever he wants.

Jokic is on significantly better team situation than KG ever was in Minnesota.

KG also only had one year in Minnesota where he even got out of the first round of the playoffs. There’s definitely ample room for Jokic to have a better situation than KG had in Minnesota while still having the team’s front-office management have made it impossible for him to win a bunch of titles.

Yeah, Jokic plays on much better, more talented and better coached teams than Garnett ever had in Minnesota. Do you disagree with that?

Uhhhh.............are u actually disagreeing w/ what he said? lol...... the 1 1/2 seasons of Sam Cassell is the only time Kg had a comparable supporting cast to the best Jokic had in Denver and he won 58 games, won Mvp in one of the biggest blowouts ever and made Wcf losing to the Shaq and Kobe Lakers
And Jokic had many seasons of Murray,Jerami,Millsap,Gary core w/ some good role players off the bench and then the Murray,Ag,Mpj core w/ some great role players like Kcp,Brown,Braun

I agree with better but not significantly better when considering injuries.

For a guy on Jokic's level, he's had a very bad (maybe even historically bad) supporting cast mostly.
But KG's Minnesota was not simply historically bad. It's likely the worst of all time.

Which then leads to the fanbase bitching and moaning that he dare chase titles, like they do with Lebron. You can't have your cake and it too, man.

AD back tonight or tomorrow. This seems ill-advised. Hopefully he's actually fully healthy. Not like take 1 where Dallas got one half out of him.
But what is the thinking here? We really want to make the play-in where we probably won't get out with the upside getting run by OKC in 4 games?
This season is lost. Dallas needs to accept that and not risk AD(or Lively) in futility.
