Do you think he'll rest any games down the stretch? Would be a shame to see them lose to the spurs because kerr prioritized a regular season record over a ship. Or is it just mental fatigue thing that'll turn around after the RS ends

I think they should rest him in those back to back games. so 2 games for me, Jazz/spurs

Offensively, Green has very clearly seen a dropoff in his level of play, and considering that the Warriors defense has fallen off more so than their offense, and since Green is the anchor of that defense, it's very likely that his defense hasn't been as good post-ASB either.

Green was garbage in February/early March, but back to his early season level of play recently. 15 9.2 7.4 on 53% shooting in his last 10.

I will show this video any time someone will tell that Curry isn't good defender:

He's a good defender

A good man defender and a very good gambler, who knows how to pressure 3's also. He's not as weak that he can be spammed with the post up but struggles as lots of PG's due at defending super quick PG's in the pick and roll

It seems like the last half doxen games steph has either been shooting under 33% from 2 or 3.

Just seems to look like a different scorer these last games.

Really just looks like they want the playoffs to start. They haven't looked inspired in a long while.

Stephs really come back down to earth. He's not breaking the PER record anymore (tied with Lebron/Jordan at 31.7)

The Warriors as a whole have come back down to earth. They haven't been anywhere near as dominant since the ASB.

I think people underestimate how good Andre Iguodala is because he comes off the bench and because the team as a whole is so talented. Losing a player as good as he is hurts a lot.

Injuries are a factor, but there are several:

- first seed all season long with at least 3 games cushion
- being the defending champs and pegged as a historic team brings out the best effort of every team, even the bad ones want to salvage their season with a win against GSW
- schedule: 20 b2bs is NBA-high (with a couple of other teams), travel mileage is highest in the league
- title experience leads to stronger focus on post season (Lebron always gets this excuse, and rightfully so)
- injuries to key players increases effort

At this point of the season they are just gunning for statistical accolades. As long as they are still winning (and not having additional injuries) I'm not the slightest bit concerned.

The switching defense has slowed down Curry and the Warriors a bit. But it remains to be seen whether that'll be enough.

It's also true that the Warriors have had a pretty brutal schedule in terms of rest since the ASB. I can't remember the last time they've gotten more than a day off in between games, and they've had a bunch of B2Bs. And they've still got 2 left (tonight @Utah and @SA later).

He was hovering around .330-.340 WS/48, too, with a realistic shot to topple Kareem's record. Now it's looking like he'll probably fall short of LeBron and Jordan's best WS/48 seasons (.322 and .321, respectively). Nothing more than small details, though. The trophy at the end obviously matters far more.

Curry really miss Iggy's presence. With Iggy on the floor the ball movement was much better and their fast break was unstoppable.

Steve Kerr says Andre Iguodala (ankle) could return in a week,
Ezeli is probably not available until the PS.

Does anyone know where I can find a list to see the number of b2b each team has played this season?

I think most of this is true, but I also think the league as a whole is starting to figure out some better ways to attempt to defend them starting with trying to force the ball away from Green when doubling Curry. Obviously Iggy's return brings another great decision-maker which will help GSW combat that, but playing 3 on 4 with the ball in Green's hands in the center of the floor is something teams have done a better job of avoiding than they did earlier in the year.
