Kuzma and McGee are really the main guys that I don't see much use for on this team moving forward. Green and Bradley, they can still be useful.

I think a rotation of LeBron/Davis/KCP/Green/Howard/Bradley/Caruso/Morris/Rondo is an excellent rotation, just like they proved in these playoffs. Offensively a little limited without LeBron out there, since none of them are elite creators by themselves, but next to LeBron, you have a lot of good shooters in that lineup and a secondary playmaker in Rondo. And defensively, they're elite, led by AD.

Kuzma imo sucks, he gets vastly overrated for some reason. He's gotten better defensively, but is just such a low IQ, inconsistent offensive player. McGee is just bad all-around.

Also, LeBron is cappin. 1v1 he was kinda getting locked up by Jimmy lol, Miami LeBron would erase him from existence. He'd need a lot of screens but I'm sure he'd out-think 27yo Bron and be more effective in the minutes they match up. So yeah I can buy that from a 5v5 setting.

The Lakers should be steaming mad for the first time this post-season after defacing Kobes legacy like that losing in his jersey. If they don't get their game together and finally play their first S-class game as a team together and throw a mega haymaker I'll be crazy disappointed in LeGOAT.

BTW how did his last game look as far as Gamescore? Was it a 2016-esque 40 bomb?

Ah yes, my ban from trolling on GB is finally up.

This why he's my LeGOAT. A f***ing mega haymaker just as I expected of him. THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE

Did anyone else notice that no one else on the Heat other than UD shook hands? I'm gonna make a thread about it on GB right after this. Even Draymond and Curry shook hands, and that's why Klay is forever b****made to me no matter what. The Heat are a bunch of f***ing pussies.

They thought they were punking the Lakers the whole series and the one game that the Lakers came out angry they wilted under the pressure almost immediately. The Lakers were treating them lil bro the whole series and not taking them seriously and the one time they did the Heat couldn't handle the heat (yes MFin pun intended).

So much for 'hEaT cULtUrE' goin out sorry like that and not even having the common decency to dap up the champs. Karma won't forget this. They're never coming back to the mountaintop with this sleazy team because Giannis doesn't wanna go there regardless. Glad to see that cocky fanbase get kicked in the teeth after how cocky they were acting, including that random scrub tryna pull up on me in this thread. F*** that guy in particular lol.

I didn't shed any tears, but I was jumping up and down like a little kid. Hell, I was jumping so much it irritated the plantar fasciitis I got recently from hoopin excessively lmaoo. So worth it tho. I think this is the most pure excitedness I felt to win. Cleveland I sobbed uncontrollably cuz of the weight off my shoulders but this was just joyful man. So happy.

Also, I feel like AD low-key was mvp worthy too this series. He singlehandedly damn near played Herro off the court. That little s*** can't pull up from 3 to punish drop coverage just like Cranjis said and AD somehow perfectly played the lob and the shot every time. I've never seen a player before that can come up with all the improbable deflections that AD does. Passes that literally every other player in the league would allow to get through somehow AD just gets a hand on them. It's uncanny. It's not just his length, it's his instincts and agility too. Never seen something like that. I figure that's what watching Hakeem and Russell night in and night out must've been like. He's literally unique.

As far as duos go, I think LeBron and AD are by far my favorite out of every stop. Just watching them during the closing minutes and the ceremony was great. There's no inherent rivalry and awkwardness between them the way there always was with Wade (even in Cleveland, that's the main reason they shipped him out for nothing). ADs just a big awkward goofball and LeBron's just a big goofy cornball. They really are the Stepbrothers lmao. I might have to watch that movie tomorrow.

But man, can you believe it boys? We're really back here again on the mountaintop. All I can say is, let's not forget the lessons of 2016. Let's just enjoy and be present in this moment for as long as we possibly can and just savor it. Nothing's promised or guaranteed when it comes to this stuff, and life in general.

Also, shout-out to all the people that doubted our role players lol. Where was Duncan Robinson tonight when they turned up the intensity lol. This is why I don't buy that the Dragic injury made a difference. The Lakers were toying with the Heat this whole series. If anything they take the Heat a little more seriously and still end it in 6 like that guy who claims to be AD posted.

All this talk about the Lakers roster, don't think it matters much. As long as Lebron and AD are in their prime and healthy in the playoffs, they're walking it again with any average cast of characters.

Next year you could have to deal with Warriors and Clippers. This year a break having neither. Also could deal with Brooklyn as well. Maybe neither make it again but certainly much tougher road dealing with any or all of them.

The Heat not shaking hands was shocking to me. When they lost in 2014 LeBron and co didn't walk off the court no?

Let's be real the Clippers were overrated and simply put, Kawhi is just not on Lebron's level and with evenly matched team I'm sure Bron would just be the difference. Plus Clippers missing a playmaker is just not gonna cut it and that was a concern for them all year long.

None of those teams are any threat to a healthy Lebron/AD. Also what do you mean the Clippers weren't there lol? They were healthy and in the playoffs, just nowhere near good enough to contend.

Kuzma showed some nice dishes and has pretty good off-ball instincts though. The rest of his stuff can be worked on I think.

I mean I don't think he's amazing, but definitely playable with decent upside.

Fully agree on McGee

I disagree, I think Kawhi was probably the only guy who could play Lebron straight up or play him to a standstill or even play better than him. On the season when head to head he showed it. He even showed it in prior seasons. Wish we got to see though. To me that was the biggest disappointment of the season that we didn't get to see that matchup in the playoffs.

It's highly doubtful Kawhi could have done what you say vs Lebron, but even if he did the Clippers wouldn't win the series, Lakers have AD too.

Don't be too disappointed, Clippers wouldn't have been competitive. They might not even have made it past the 1st round if the Mavs had been healthy.

It's possible but certainly would have been better to see at least we would have known. Kinda Like Spurs/Lakers 2001

When did Kawhi show it (and if you're really going to reply with 2014 please think twice before you reply)? This was the first time in his career where his team needed him to be that offensive floor general on the floor and he can't do that and that's what puts LeBron in a different tier. RS games don't show much. Lakers would have rolled the Clipppers in 5 especially with AD running circles around PG as the 2nd guy on the team.

Who do you guys think the Lakers play in a season opener? Heat? Nuggets? Clippers? Warriors? Christmas is probably gonna be the Clippers, so I'm thinking the Heat on opening night.

Maybe you are right, but Kawhi has always played Lebron well especially since becoming a star. I know Clippers had no one for AD but AD didnt play well vs them either. Wish we got chance to see. Damn you Denver for coming back. :-?
