LeBron already has 3 FMVP which is tied for second place, so if the lakers win the title and LeBron is playing great, it's going to be huge for him to win the title with the lakers even if he doesn't win the FMVP.

There's always gonna be haters no matter what.

For LeBron's legacy it is important for him to win. An extra MVP, all the finals MVPs he can.

However, if he wins and doesn't get the FMVP it's OK too. He's still a major contributor and the engine of the team. Magic didn't win all the FMVPs when his team won, or Bird, or Duncan.

Of course with LBJ's magnitude that is gonna be a "problem" for the casual fans. But that's just them.

It actually won't be a problem at all for casuals

Casuals have Kobe in their top 5 or even top 2-3 and he has 2 fmvps and 1 mvp

A 4th fmvp would make him the solid #2 of all time at WORST for me and many others

Nobody else will have more besides MJ

I would love for Lebron to win it, but at this point, I just want them to win it all.

A ring this year is huge, especially for Kobe. That narrative will be very big and he will gain a lot of respect and love from LAL fans

LAC +325 to win it all right now. I am taking that bet. At least if I have to watch them win it all, I want to be compensated.

I think its a toss up next round though....if they make it

It's ok guys. Paul George is still in the driver's seat.

The Nuggets are scaring the **** out of me. You can't **** with these team of destiny types. Is this a Houston '95 sort of run?

Although objectively, the Lakers are favored for many of the same reasons the Clippers were, with some massive differences:

1) AD can guard Jokic and he can abuse Jokic on the other end [can someone check the H2H]
2) Individually, Lakers' perimeter defenders aren't as good as the Clippers, but as a whole when you factor in scheme, discipline, and who they're funneling it into the paint, Lakers may actually be more effective
3) They have LeBron, who is used to his team blowing big leads when he sits, with a team who actually doesn't blow leads when he sits

I don't want to make a prediction because I might jinx it

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George shot a combined 0 for 1 from the free throw line in a game 7.

Wait I forgot one key factor the Nuggets have in their favor: they have Paul **** Millsap.

We're done. Pack it up boys.

With Murray and Jokic playing this way, this is going to be a tough ass series. I underestimated this Nuggets team. The way they move the ball and compete defensively is just incredible.

All set up for Lebron to win title number 4.

What are the odds for a Lakers' title at the moment?

Nah HBK was that massive Kawhi fan on here who kept saying his run last year was better than any of Lebron's.
