I didn't know Ryan Anderson was this good.

Pelicans were making some ridiculous shots before but im surprised at how well theyve played without Davis, specially defensively

Pelicans were really hot this game, true, but Tyreke was basically getting to the paint at will and no one was meeting him there... Then there was a stretch in the 3rd quarter where everyone was missing shots except LeBron and Varejao. Love was pretty invisible this game.

Lead was pretty substantial with a 2 minutes left so I think Blatt was going to let it go at that point. Cavs managed to make a mini-run anyway and he didn't want to interrupt that momentum. Didn't really work though so at least he got some rest and didn't have to go over 40 MP.

Is it me, or does Love only does REALLY well in one quarter, and just fades away afterwards.

38/3/5 on 72% TS (~41 PER) in his last two. Only 2 TO's as well. Unfortunate that he didn't play last night, he likes playing in OKC.

Love didnt really put in any effort to get involved in the 2nd half for whatever reason. If he would've made his presence known in the 2nd half, Cavs win this game. Lebron played great and looked phenomenal, hopefully this is what we are going to start seeing on a consistent basis moving forward.

Passed Hal Greer for 24th on the careers FG made list. Ray Allen up next, needs 53 FGM to pass him.

Also passed Derrick Coleman for 61th on the DREB list. McDyess 6 d-rebounds away.

Passed Brad Miller on the total rebounds list for 142

51 points from passing Barkely for 23rd on the scoring list. So about 2 games. Then Iverson about 600 points away.

Cleveland's now at a +6.1 offense, +0.7 defense. Since the start of the winning streak, they're at a +11.1 SRS, +12 offense (117.9 ORTG), -1.1 defense (105.4 DRTG) without last night's Lebron-less game (9 G).

Also, I don't get what the deal with Delladedova is? He doesn't seem like a guy that should be getting minutes in this league. He's actually a worse version of Norris Cole.

High energy role player with good man defense (obviously not the case today) that is hit and miss on offense.

Good man defense? He's getting destroyed by whoever he's guarding out there. I'd rather see Will Cherry at this point.

And his offense isn't hit or miss. He either hits one, two threes or he doesn't do anything. That's literary his game. Hit or miss on offense is someone like Waitress, he either scores 20 points or he shoots you out of the game.

He plays completely different than you think, most of his value is in running the offense.

His defense isn't great but he's not a liability on most nights either

Ask Cleveland Fans what they think of him, he has a much higher impact than his stats.

Think better defense worse offense Nate Wolters

I really can't believe they lost to the Pels WITHOUT Davis.

Wish he HAD played though, was looking forward to a Davis/LeBron duel.

This continued through the season plus the level of offense we've seen from him would place this season where on your evaluation scale?

Watching the highlights now (much clearer and no constant lag like when I was watching live...). Lift, while not quite at previous levels, definitely looked way better tonight (and I thought it was pretty solid the other night vs. Toronto as well). Finishing, even better; he was crafty and quick getting to the rim and the upper body control that usually allows him to contort around defenders and hit those off-angle shots was clear-as-day there. Did look gassed in the 2nd half, but he was carrying a huge two-way load today IMO, so that's not all that surprising.

I recall toodles saying that it looked like he tweaked his back again, a month back against Atlanta. Maybe that was affecting him, maybe not, but for whatever reason he looked real good to me today. Again, consistency is the key. We've seen signs before but then he just regresses again after a string of good games. That said, if this is a sign of what's to come later on (we know he's going to make his Jan/Feb/April push) and in the playoffs, that's basically 2014 Lebron + much better defense. Consider the Cavs are sitting at a +6 offense, which is steadily improving as they're still gelling, and will likely finish as the best offensive team Lebron's ever lead over a full season (perhaps even by a margin as they start to approach that 115 figure). He's still the best offensive player, in a league that's got Curry/Paul/Durant playing at all time great levels on that end.

How can you lose to the Pelicans without Anthony Davis.

At least Lebron was efficient though.

Last 15 games, shooting 71.3% in the RA and 41.4% in the paint (non-RA), according to NBA.com. Last 9 its 70%/52%. Last 2 he's 8/10 in the RA, nothing in the lane.

For reference, last season he was at 78%/50%.

41 points and the Cavs still lost. Tyreke Evans and Ryan Anderson go off. Come on Cavs..

Indication he's on his way back to his usual efficiency?
