As I understand it, there’s apparently literally a Discord server in which like half of the PC board constantly strategizes together in depth regarding how they as a group can optimally present pro-LeBron arguments here and make sure that the various projects in this forum get voting results that are as pro-LeBron as possible. So I’d say there’s people taking defenses of more than just Kobe far too seriously.

You know if only that discord server voted, Lebron would be down a POY, right?

You're sort of resembling those Kobe fans Tim was talking about right now...

I don’t think you can seriously deny what I said, nor are you even really attempting to do so. So yeah, there is indeed a Discord server where you and others strategize together regarding how to advance a pro-LeBron agenda here. Perhaps I should have added that you seek to make the voting results be as anti-Jordan as possible too (which certainly played out in the RPOY voting, as well as prior voting, and I’m sure will also play out in peaks voting), but that’s basically just part and parcel with the aforementioned pro-LeBron agenda. Two sides of the same coin to you. There’s not much point in even arguing about this, though, because apparently like half the PC board is on this Discord, so they all know full well what’s true.

Might be misunderstanding this, but why is this relevant here?

Can we go back to discussing SGA and Kobe now, please?

Maybe because he isn't doing anything new? Just guessing, I have no other thought as to why. :(

Nah, I can and will. It's the "pro lebron" part you're getting wrong. He's got the lowest entry fee, but he's not the destination; nor is he the sole ticket.

Also half? Oh you sweet summer child.

Yes, that's what I meant. He's not actively making news or giving people things to talk about but remains the center of enough folks' basketball world that he enters into or generates conversation at a far greater frequency and intensity than his equally deceased, often equally decorated peers.

But, on further review, it is no different from continuing to discuss and admire a living, retired player who is likewise done making waves.

Also on further review, the way I put that sounds crass. My bad.
