After last night, I'm pretty convinced that Embiid should be behind both Jokic and Gobert. He's getting James Harden-style officiating.

BBall Breakdown brought up a really good point comparing the two. If you play predominantly back to the basket, you're just not going to get calls even if you're getting bodied and fouled all the time. Embiid faces up a lot in the post so that he can throw his arms into defenders and gets cheap whistles. Jokic doesn't do that.

I think it is fair to say Steph Curry is the best "tough shot" maker in NBA history.

Best game of the year maybe. That or the GSW-DAL game.

he is the best shooter of all time, is good at handling thw ball and moving off ball and has a quick release

other than his size that is about a perfect profile to get a tough shot off against tight defense

not sure who could be comparable, i think ben taylor has said kobe or hakeem had impressive percentages at making bad shots since they were accostumed to taking them regularly

I feel like he's only been taking tough shots this year and yet he's in the top 10 in the whole NBA in TS%, with guys who either only shoot open 3s or dunks.

Race for the 1 seed in the East is more important to me than it seems like it is to either BKN or PHI.

We always wondered what Steph would look like if KD never went there. Well, no we got it. This is a show unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

I mean we saw it the season before, so why wonder at all?

Don't care what anyone says, but nobody thought this possible even like 5 years ago and its going to happen and it's really cool.

I think he's taken shot creation to heights that is above what we saw in his 2016 season. He's playing with the worst spacing of any star in the league and facing more defensive attention than he ever has (which is saying a lot).

Some of us have imagined what Steph would look like in a D'Antoni/Morey system. With the way that he can scale his production and maintain absurd levels of efficiency with GSW's level of spacing and equal-opportunity ethos, I'm now thinking that he can obliterate any pre-conceived notion we may have about what's possible with individual scoring if he played in a ruthlessly pragmatic system like D'Antoni/Morey.

I'm sure this was posted somewhere but I didn't see it here. This was before tonight, by my count he's at 71 (edit: I'm wrong 72 per the NBA's twitter account) over his last 10 now, so the record:

i hope sixers get it

i am really curious on a bucks vs nets series

unfortunately i am feeling unconfident old man tucker or old man brook would be anythingh but cannon meat against harden. i dont like what i have seen of brook and according to rockets fans tucker looked done ( last bucks games i watched tucker was injured, maybe he still is?)

i am still interested to (hopefully, crossing fingers) see giannis at center small line ups against nets

i hope budenholzer tries it

Kind of another note entirely, but thinking back to that top 10 thread, and think I did overreact to Durant a bit. The box score was there, but the APM isn't there yet and the sample was super small. Just going back and looking with a bit more sample and some other guys playing super well too but he might be the Nets 3rd best player even this year.

Also some bounce backs from guys who were thought done or really bad.
